It means that you are not writing your email address correctly. it has to be something like something@yahoo.com (or .it, .es, .fr) no spaces, no commas, no special symbols

Erase Email Addresses in My Computer


Email addresses can be stored on a computer if you use email software, such as Microsoft Office Outlook and Yahoo Messenger Beta.


Deleting email addresses manually from these programs does not actually completely erase them from your computer.


To erase email addresses permanently, meaning that a hard drive recovery program will not be able to restore them if it is used, requires a process called formatting, which completely erases the information on a hard drive.


Click on the shortcut "My Computer," which you can locate on your desktop.


Right click "Local Disk (C:)" and select the "Format" option.


Change the "Allocation Size Unit" to "Default Allocation Size."


Click the "Start" button.

The email addresses, as well as the rest of the files on the hard drive, will now be erased.


Delete a Live Mail Email Address


Windows Live Mail is a part of the Windows Live suite of productivity and entertainment programs, and it is intended to be the new free email client for Windows beginning with Windows 7.


After trying Windows Live Mail, you may decide that you have added too many email addresses and that you would prefer to use the email client to check only one address.


Remove an email address from Windows Live Mail to reduce the clutter in your email inbox.

Yahoo wont accept the address as being properly formated on the email message I want to send even the company I tried to send it to gave that email address in different places.yahoo says that it isn't...


A properly formatted email address has to be like this -
name@domain.com
Now it doesn't necessarily have to be a .com addresses. Could be .net or .org, just as long as it's a valid domain suffix.

I am not on facebook and hate getting email from facebook about weird people in the area who want to date me. I find these emails an invasion of my privacy and these strangers are scary. I have no need of...


If you have a fairly simple address, they don't 'get' your address, they guess it.

They have software that randomly selects different formatted addresses and send out the spam messages (unwanted emails).

Sometimes, if you leave your email address on your website, that can also be 'picked up' by spammers.

The only way to completely stop it is to change your email address to something more unlikely to be guessed or use an online checking system where your emails go through a filter which needs to be confirmed before the email is sent right on to you. There is normally a charge for this service, though.

Settings - E-mail

You'll need to complete all steps for this to work. Make sure that if you have to enter O2 in the settings you use the letter O and not a zero.

The following settings are if you use O2 Email as your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

If you require different settings eg Yahoo, Gmail etc please click here

1. Tap the Application tab on the bottom of the screen
2. Tap Email
3. Tap Next on the Welcome to Email setup screen
4. Tap on the Email address text box and enter your Email address then tap Done
5. Tap on the Password text box and enter your Password for your Email account then tap Done
6. Tap Next
7. Your phone will now try and download your setting to your phone and set up your account, if this can not be done you will see the message, Setup could not finish. Unable to open connection to server. Tap Edit details to continue.
8. Tap Manual setup
9. Tap the Username text box and enter your full Email address then tap Done
10. Tap POP3 account
11. Highlight POP3 server and tap the text box and enter mail.o2.co.uk
12. Check that Port is default set at 110
13. Highlight Next and tap
14. The phone will now check your settings
15. Tap the SMTP server text box and enter smtp.o2.co.uk
16. Highlight Next and tap
17. The phone will now check your settings
18. Tap Next on the Account options screen
19. You now have the options to add a name for your new account plus add your name to outgoing messages
20. Tap Done

What is the valid email format?


ok the valid email format is

usernsame@host.whatever

username is usually the contact name / handle for the person you are addressing the mail to.

host is the company's server that will revieve and process the mail

.whatever is the extension url

for example.

kevinnobody@someserver.com

kevinnobody is the person I wanna send the message to, he can be found @someserver and the ending url is .com

No phone numbers dont have email addresses, A phoe number is similar to that of an ip address which can be seen to be similar to the comcept of a street address..

for example every computer on the internet has a unique ip address,

every line has a different phone number

every house has a different address,

This is what allows computer to interact withone another, or send info to one another. Just as your phone number allows you to call one another and your house address allows you to send mail to one another.

Your email address is similar to that of a mail box. Think of your email address as a virtual mail box, people can send virtual mail to you and you can send to them from it via the internet.

When you get an internet connection your isp assigns you email address (usually) if not you can get free ones from www.yahoo.com and www.msn.com
