Sony CDX F7500 car CD player screen is dead :) It was working absolutely fine yesterday. All the red lights of the buttons are working fine and the buttons themselves are functioning correctly, but the screen is completely blank. I already cleaned the connectors

Testimonial: "Didn't manage to fix it. Managed to get another unit from Ebay and changed front unit. New front worked fine, so must have been a problem with the front unit."

Have you tried cleaning the unit with a "Laser Lens Cleaner?" one that uses fluid? Mp3 is a fickle format and your deck may be having issues reading it. Try running a cleaner thru it. Secondly, when you burn discs, make sure you finalize it by making it "compatable for all player types" Hope this helps
