Re: My player has frozen. Everything I've tried, and...
The firmware of your Philips GoGear SA1948 MP3 player has become corrupt. Fix it by reflashing the system software, which you will find at the Philips website here.
That's cool. Done that. The only problem is when I hook up my mp3 player to my computer it tells me it's not connected. That's cool. Done that. The only problem is when I hook up my mp3 player to my computer it tells me it's not connected.

Try a soft reset and hard reset your iPod Touch if it’s frozen or not responding. Try a soft reset first: 1. Press and hold theSleep/Wake button on the top of the unit until a red slider appears 2. Drag the slider. 3. Press and hold theSleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears. If a soft reset doesn’t work, try a hard reset: Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for about ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
When your power was off it probably caused some ice melting, then when power was restored it froze where it shouldn't. Try to see if there is ice freeze up where there shouldn't be any. Not talking ice cubes, just small amounts of frozen water making things stick together that shouldn't. Gently jiggle a few things. Lol. This has happened to me before. As far as I know there is not a reset button.

When the Sansa e260 is frozen, first try to reset the player.
How to reset the e200 series player:
1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power/Menu button. 3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player.
When resetting does not solve the problem, a reinstallation of the
