Question about Fujitsu Heating & Cooling
If your having problem with the fan blade it might be the condenser fan motor have a bad bearing or the motor is already burned out. There are several ways on how to check this issue, either you turn off the machine and try to check if the fan blade can move freely or check if the contractor is pulled in. Please follow the steps below for additional guidelines on how to check the fan blade.
1. Turn off the system completely.
2. You can use a long screwdriver to check the fan. Now try to turn the fan blades. If you noticed that it's difficult to spin, you need a new fan motor. But if fan blades can move freely that doesn't mean that the motor is working, it means that the bearings are ok.
3. Now please check the contractor. Contractor is a type of switch located in the outdoor unit. Please check if it is "pulled in". If it is pulled in, the motor doesn't spin, so you need to replace the motor.
Please leave the power off until the unit is repaired.
Hope it helps.
