Question about Televison & Video

I have a Mitsubishi tv and think the "lamp" has went out. I have it out of the tv. Can it be checked to see if it is good by checking continuity?

The lamp from inside your Mitsubishi TV can be tested, but not with a standard multimeter or anything like that. There is a specialized piece of equipment that some repair centers will have. I recommend calling around your area to find one a shop that has lamp testing equipment.

have you pulled the lamp out & checked it. It is possible you have gotten poor quality lamp. It is critical on a mitsubishi to get the proper lamp.

Newly replaced lamp blew under 1 minute!


when you replaced the lamp were you wearing gloves,I hope so if not that could pop it.Other then that most likley a faultly bulb.

I have the Mitsubishi WD-65738 65-Inch 3D DLP HDTV I was watching it and it made a pop sound, then the screen went black what can I do.....


Tv "LAMP" LED light indication on the tv frame word light up or blinking LED light.Check the tv projection Lamp first.The tv projection Lamp might litterly broken into glasses sharts itself.The tv projection lamp still intact,still should be change too though.After the tv projection lamp has been change the tv should work now.If still have problems the board that call the Balast board probally dead too.Becauuse this Ballast board only jobs are to help to ignite and keep tv projetion lamp light up and to work only.

Mitsubishi WD-62525 timer light keeps flashing after lamp replace


There is a tiny reset button to the left of the timer light. Press with a pin or something small, wait 60 seconds. Viola!

Mitsubishi DLP overheating


Mitsubishi has problems with the thermal sensor going bad. They extended the warranty for several sets. The sensor is right by the lamp. Call mitsubishi and insist they do something for you. If you keep playing your set, the bulb could also be at risk. I would think your set is covered being a 62" set. Good-luck and be sure to act ASAP.
