Question about Belkin Basic Wireless N150 USB Adapter
There are four flavours of WiFi: a, b, g, & n.
A is oldest and slowest, N is the newest and fastest.
My recommendation to you is to purchase the cheaper variation of N called N150 or 150N.
This means that it's maximum connection speed to a WiFi network is 150 mega-bits per second. This is half the speed of the fastest N variation.
However, what the salesmen won't tell you at the store is that 150 megabits per second is still at least ten times faster than a typical 'very fast' internet connection. So why pay double to have a 300 megabit connection to your router, when you have only 15 megabits possible from the internet?
Where I live the N150 usb adaptors & routers are much cheaper than N300; this is why I recommend them. I recently bought a Belkin N150.
I hope that helps.
