Just to let you know, you posted a question for your laptop in the "Barcode Scanners" section. Be more careful next time.
If the sound stopped working recently, then it's possible virus/malware is the problem. Run scans to test for this with good (and free!) software like Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes. I use these programs on my own computers and clients' computers that I fix. If it turns out not to be viruses/malware then you might need to re-install the audio driver for your laptop. You didn't specify the model of your laptop, so I can't tell you exactly which site to find it out. However, I can lead you in the general direction. Go to your laptop manufacturer's website. Enter their support/drivers/downloads section. Enter the model of your laptop. Enter the version of Windows on your laptop. You will now be able to see the drivers for the laptop, including the audio drivers. Download and install them, and reboot. You should have sound now.
If it still doesn't work after this, then possibly the internal speakers have failed. You can test this further by hooking up a known good set of external speakers or headphones to the laptop and seeing if sound comes out of those.
Good luck.

If i restart the whole sysytem on my laptop will k9 send a message to the parent saying it has been uninstalled

Another soultion to Your problem mite be to go thru Windows Explorer and goto your Hard Drive and click on Program files then go down to the Directory that k9 is Installed in and click on it. then Press the Delete Key on the Keyboard or right Click on it and select Delete. Either way if it Deletes the Directory that the Program is stored in. It will not be able to Run. As the Program files will not be able to Be found by the System and usually when You delete something it will not Send out an E-mail to Anyone that it has been Deleted. I have done this before with Programs that i have not been able to uninstall any other Way.

One word of Caution all thoe. Be care full what You are Deleting because if You Delete the wrong files by Actadent like files that Windows needs to Run. It will Crash out your whole Entire system.

My web cam won't work .How do i get it working .

Im assuming its a USB web cam if so plug it in you should hear or see a sound or notification that lets you know the computer has noticed. if it came with an install disc if so insert it now and go through set up. if it didn't vista and 7 seem to work without a driver sometimes. If the program you will use it for still doesnt work you will need to change setting and choose the webcam. or maybe look for a driver online Open up the program and the webcam should be working (most programs auto detect a webcam) i hope this helped

'Low Disk Space' Could be talking about your virtual memory. Sounds as if your RAM is experiencing problems and your Virtual Memory cache is not high enough.

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not...

1. check the "device manager" in sound, video and game controller
2.Select your sound card check to see if it is working properly if not update the drivers
3. You may have to re install the sound card driver.
This is for Windows 7
check Windows XP in similar fashion.

No voice in any chatrooms but i got sound when the pc starts up

Most chatrooms are actually text-only chat. It saves resources. If you know there's supposed to be voice available and you have a recommended chat program (try searching for chat program notes) then maybe it's curable. The program isn't in the OS? Perhaps you're striving to remove Yahoo stuff? It takes a few bullets, doesn't it? Just remove it like malware with Malwarebytes or AVG32 or Anvir tools, and/or the program's uninstall tool so the Yahoo Robin Hood (and Friar Tuck, who restarts Robin's KO'd self) gets supressed, not being you know, a real force for good.

Tell ya what; double-check your audio mixer settings to make sure nothing is muted, get those bogus programs out of there, and your speakers on or whatever, working with Peggle demos etc. Then mention your particular program instead of the eMachines thing. That is, re-post in a forum for your chat program as well as clarifying here what's gone wrong.

Can not install on my laptop

If you are having problem to install the printer, or get your printer on, do the following:
Check all connections first if necesary replace the cables and try again.
Be sure the printer is ON
Go to Printers Folder (Start >> Control Panel >> Printers) And be sure your printer status is marked as "READY"
If not, Uninstall the printer and install the printer again but
During the printer installation follow the software steps

to remove your software go to >> Start >> Control panel >> Add/remove programs
If you did it already and your software is still in your computer do this:
1) Uninstall the printer,
2) Delete all the printer folders created during the last installation. (Usually in folder "Program Files")
3) In the computer registry (start >> run >> regedit.exe) Delete all printer paths
4) Reboot your computer
5) Re-install the printer again.

If you dont have the CD:
To get your software go to:
Support >> Sotware and drivers

And download there your printer software

Have a great day!

UNINSTALL PGE file on my xp system.

Uninstall it if you need the space. You haven't used it in 4 years.
If space isn't an issue, leave it there. You never noticed it before and it doesn't appear to be running anything detrimental to your system.
