How can i unlock my itel it2020 phone?

What is a PUK code?
A personal unblocking code (PUC), also known as a PIN unlock key (PUK), is used in mobile phones to reset a personal identification number (PIN) that has been lost or forgotten.
How to Unlock the PUK Code on a Mobile Phone If Locked?
GSM phones give you the option to set a PIN code on the SIM card as a security measure. If you only set a phone lock and you lose your phone, someone can remove the SIM and insert it into another phone. The person can then make calls on your account. When you insert the SIM card into another phone, the phone prompts you for the code. If you put in the code wrong three times, the phone will lock the PIN and ask for a PIN Unlocking Key.
Step 1
Contact your cellular carrier. Some phones allow you to call the carrier even if the PUK is locked. You can also dial the carrier's toll-free number from another phone.
Step 2
Select the option to speak with customer care. The customer care agent will ask you to verify your account with the account password.

Step 3
Advise the customer care agent you need a PUK code. The agent will generate a new PUK code and give it to you over the phone.
Step 4
Enter the PUK code into the phone to unlock it.
Tip
Some carriers allow you to generate a PUK through your account on their website, or by talking with online support chat.
Warning
When the phone switches from asking for a PIN to asking for a PUK, stop entering codes. If you enter the PUK code wrong too many times, the PUK will lock permanently and you will need to buy a new SIM card.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to Find Out My PUK Code
The PUK code for your cell phone is a SIM card-specific code assigned by the service provider. If you have entered an incorrect pin into your phone three times, the SIM card on your phone will lock and you will be unable to use your phone. An error message will appear asking you to "Enter PUK Code." The PUK code is available through your service provider.
Instructions
Don't try to guess your phone's PUK code. If you enter the wrong code three times, or sometimes five times depending on your phone type, you will end up with a completely locked SIM card that will need to be replaced.
Go to your online cell phone account. Log in with the username and password that are assigned to the account. Some providers include the PUK code along with the rest of your online account information.
Click on the "Phone" or "Device" option on your online account. The name of this section will vary by provider. When you click on this option, you will be taken to a section with information regarding your cell phone.
Look for an option to "Unblock SIM Card" or any other SIM card selection. Once the information regarding your SIM card opens, see if there is an "unblock" link. If your provider does have an "unblock" section, follow the instructions exactly to unblock your SIM card.
Call your provider. If the PUK code could not be found on the online account, you must get it directly from the customer service department of your cell phone provider. Be prepared to answer questions to confirm your identity, such as billing address or email address, and possibly provide them with the number on your SIM card. Once you have given proof of your identity, your provider will give you the PUK number. If possible, enter the PUK code into your cell while you are still on the phone with customer service. This will save you time if the code fails to work.

Need a puk code

PUK is an abbreviation for Personal Unblocking Key; your PUK code is an 8-digit code that unlocks a barred phone. If you have set a PIN password on your phone and then enter it wrong three times, you won't be able to use your phone again until you enter the PUK code. When you can't remember your PIN or accidentally enter the wrong code, it can be very frustrating. However, there are three ways you can find your PUK code and unlock your handset.
1. Look in your SIM card wallet. Most network providers will give you your PUK code with the SIM card holder and instruction manual when you buy the phone. Others send the code through the post in your welcome pack.
2. Contact your network provider's customer service team. If you can't find your PUK code in your SIM card wallet, contact your network provider. It will confirm that you are the account holder and provide you with your PUK code. However, remember you will need another phone, such as a land line, to do this.
3. Visit the network service provider's website, where some networks will allow you to access your PUK code online. Networks such as AT&T require customers to sign into their online account before accessing their PUK code. However, others simply require you to enter your phone number before displaying your PUK code.

And remember: Once you have unblocked your phone, you'll have an opportunity to reset your SIM code. Try to pick something memorable, such as the last four digits of your phone number.
For better understanding here is a picture where you can find the PUK code.
Hope it was helpful .

    PUK NUMBER

    Hello there,
If you contact you netowork provider and then request a PUK code then all good.

This is what I found on a forum:

"The PUK code relates to your SIM card, not the phone. If you enter the wrong for your SIM 3 times in a row, your SIM is blocked and you then require the PUK for your SIM.

There are a few ways to get your PUK. Firstly you can use our automated service to get this when calling 191 from your mobile. The PUK will then be provided by the system as long as you've set up a PIN on your account or registration and confirm this with the automated system when you call.

You could also e-mail us using the online contact us form here in the help section of our Vodafone.co.uk website.

Finally you could visit your nearest Vodafone store who'd provide you with your PUK once confirming your account security information with you."

    I hope this helped.
