Take the sparkplug out and see if you can pull the cord then. If fuel comes out of the sparkplug hole the carburetor is leaking gasoline in to the engine filling up the cylinder causing the lockup. The carb has to be rebuilt. Another problem mice like to build nests around the flywheel which will prevent the engine from turning over. You have to remove the recoil housing and if there is a nest clean it out using a screwdriver or use a compressor to blow the mess out.

My recoil starter won't pull out it is stuck

Just take the cover bolts for the pull cord off. Then see if it works. There are usually two cogs that engage into the shaft of the engine. These cogs push outward when you pull the cord, engaging the shaft of the engine.

Pulley is stuck how do you resolve problem?

Pulley ? What pulley?
If you mean the recoil starter pull cord is stuck it might be a simple fix. Did your machine tip over on its side?
If it did oil often flows into the cylinder. Just remove the spark plug. The recoil cord should pull easily and oil will spurt out the spark plug opening. Pull until oil stops coming out. Check your oil level. Replace your spark plug and see if she starts.

The water will not stop filling up.It never start to wash.

Hi, This will be one of two problems. Either the pressure switch is bad or the valve is stuck open. The way to figure which is: when the tub is filling pull the power cord out. If when pulling the power cord out the water stops it means the pressure switch is bad. The pressure switch can be located inside the control panel. It has 2 wires and a plastic tube sticking into it and is attached to the water level knob. If the water fails to switch off when you pull the power cord this means the valve is stuck open so you should replace the valve. This is located behind the machine and are what the hoses attach to. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment. Mike

Pullstart wont pull

sometimes the float in the carb can stick causing the gas to fill the engine, this will prevent the engine from moving and therefore locking the pull cord. check the oil, is there gas in the oil? remove the spark plug and try to pull the cord again. gas may come out of the plug hole . if this is the problem you must change the oil and fix the carb. the other cause could be that the engine is seized. ouch.

I hope this helps

The cord we pull to start the washer machine is stuck

So it's stuck out? If so loosen the recoil assy's bolts and it will snap back once it's loose enough. This usually happen due to bent recoil cover, swelling of the pull rope, or too much pull rope in the recoil (length).

Or it stuck in and won't pull over. If so remove the spark plug and see if it will pull. Keep away from the spark plug oil since if the unit is flooded with fuel or oil it will shoot out of the hole and cover you with it. If it does not pull over without the spark plug in, there is a 90% chance your motor is blown.
