IMy camera is showing 280 pics. I went to crop some photos and then upload them. Now it says there are no pics to display...What do I do to find them agian and how can I upload them ASaAP.. Please help!!!

You'll first need to upload your photos from your Lumix to your computer. From there, you can go to various programs or websites to "crop" your photo and trim it up.

You can go to Paint and crop your photo, Windows Picture Viewer allows you to edit the photo while viewing it, and many sites such as picnik.com and photobucket.com allow you to edit and crop your photos on their site.

You're going to have to use a photo editing program like Photoshop Elements to remove the dates from the pics you already took. If the dates are near the edges of the pics, you may be able to just crop them out.Check your manual for instructions for turning off the feature for future pics.

First thing is to not attempt to take any new pictures on that card. Visit: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec and read carefully to follow the instructions. This is free memory card recovery software.

Are you sure your canon battery pack is OK?If not ,replace it with a high quality replacement battery pack.

Use a card reader to download your pics to a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you can open your pics in any photo editor you want.

When you connect your camera to the computer it should appear as an external hard drive on your desktop (as well as start up your photo handling software).  At the desktop level you should be able to open the camera as a drive and navigate the folders to the photos.  Then you can delete them the same way you would delete any file and empty the trash before you unmount the camera from the desktop..  Sports are so variable that one group of settings would not work satisfactorily for all.

Try getting a Card reader to upload your photos to the computer

Photos can be cropped right on the TZ2 camera. Else, most any PC photo viewer program will let you do this.

I had a Camedia 560 and it had this problem. Take a picture and then look at your memory card or camera from the computer. I think you will see that there is a complicated structure of folders - the pictures are in one folder and there is some kind of index file in another folder. The camera cannot display pictures restored from the computer unless you restore the index files as well as the picture files. Sorry I can't remember the details, but one way to do it would be to copy every last thing on the memory card. Not very convenient. This is a design flaw - my new camera doesn't have the problem and will display any picture I copy to it provided it was taken on the camera and not rotated or cropped. It doesn't mind other editing like putting a caption in the photo with a paint program. Panasonic Limix.
