White sewing machine. The control for the feed dog pressure isn't working, how do I fix it?

It has most likely seized due to lack of oiling. Apply a couple drops of liquid Tri-Flow Synthetic Lube to the feed dog mechanism and then direct hot air from a handheld hair dryer into the internal mechanism. Alternate lube & air--may take several times over several days. Eventually, it may loosen. Do not force the feed dog knob, but wiggling it may loosen things.

Dyson Dc40 brush won't turn does it have a Hoover

Hi, it's Jim from Crucial Vacuum.

Is there anything interfering with the brush? More times than not hair or fibers from a carpet will get tangled and caught causing the brush to jam. If there's nothing visibly wrong try manually spinning it to see if anything becomes noticeably caught.

Should you need a replacement part you can purchase direct from Crucial Vacuum with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10

Check out some of our DC40 parts below.

My Garmin Astro 220 will not pick up collars dc30 or dc40 outside 50-100 yards. I have updated all to newest 4.0. still not working. Any advise I have tried everything!

Try this:

  1. Power your Astro 220 ON
  2. Press DOG button
  3. Press MENU button
  4. Select DOG LIST
  5. Select the name of your DC 30 from the list
  6. Select SHOW INFO
  7. Press MENU
  8. Select CHANGE COMM. SETTINGS
  9. Choose OK
  10. Change your update rate to 5, 10, or 30 seconds
  11. Choose OK

If your update rate was set to 0 seconds, changing it to 5, 10, or 30 seconds will now allow for your DC 30 to communicate consistently with your Astro 220.

Aside from that, most problems with transceiver range relate to background interference, antenna/transmitter damage, and battery life.

I know a few people that just did the newest update on the astro and the collars. It helped the dc40's out but all the dc30's wont work anymore lost all there range

TRY DOING A REBOOT.... WITH THE UNIT TURNED OFF HOLD THE MAP AND ENTER BUTTONS AT THE SAME TIME WHILE YOU TURN THE UNIT ON.

THIS WILL ERASE ALL OF YOUR TRACKS, LOGS AND COLLARS SO IF YOU NEED THIS INFO YOU MIGHT WANT TO BACK IT UP FIRST.

GOOD LUCK

Pioneer PDP506-HDG plasma tv

The 3 blinks ( i assume they're blinking in red) means a scan assy problem. Check the scan A & B boards and the Y drive board. Something is shorted and loading down the Vscan voltage of the power supply.
