Question about Schwinn 820 P Treadmill Silver Service Delivery

Open Question

Schwinn 820P Error message L5. Took the cover off. Can see a slight tear in the treadmill which was hitting the wire that I believe has the piece that is near the magnet. Tapped down the tear so it is not hitting the wire. Put the wire back in place so that it is within the width of a credit card from the wheel. Unit runs for about 10 seconds and shuts down with the LR error message3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a error reading of l5 or ls not too sure york fitness z16

Hi,

The L5 message means that there is a problem with the speed setting switches. Some models have one set of speed adjusting stitches on the handlebar and another set on the console. One of them is defective and is causing the problem.
