Age of Empires: Rise of Rome is purely a PC game. Without running a parallel on your Mac (or Bootcamp for intel Macs) it will not run on your computer.

Hi,

Yes, just download the file for Age of Empires: Rise of Rome as if you were on a PC, then install it through Bootcamp. However It may be cheaper just to buy the game because Bootcamp is not exactly cheap. If you want to do this for multiple games then Bootcamp would be the way to go.

Im having trouble playing with my mate and sister but we are all in the same house on age of empires rise or rome how can i play with them?

First of all you have to plug all your computers on a router using ethernet cable, then you go in the game and hit "Multiplayer" then you will probably have the option "LAN" or "play on a local network" click on wherever it says Local and one of you create a game. Then the others do the same, without creating a game, and they should be able to see the game you created.

Age of empires save game problem

I had the same problem several times with AoE Rise of Rome , when I try to load a saved game it crashes to windows with an error .. first I tried to solve it by saving the game more times in a row , like three or four times , but once all four of my saves were corrupted or whatever so I tried to save the game while not having any building or unit selected . So far it works fine , but some saves where I had sth selected worked also . DON'T KNOW if this is a TRUSTY solution , but as I said I had no errors so far.
