Check to make sure you are getting power to the speaker system and that the audio jack is plugged into the green jack on your sound card. also open up volume control and make sure its not muted and that it recognizes it. when u turn the volume up if you dont see any green movement on the bar then you have a sound driver issue. go to device manger in xp right click on my computer properties then device manager and see if there is a red or yellow mark on your sound card on vista and win 7 go to my computer then system prop, then device manager.

New build with this mono and I'm not getting it to post, no beep. i do not have a chassis speaker plugged into the mobo. should i be hearing a beep if hooked up correctly? sorry, first build, complete

I don't know too much about this. Here are some suggestions:

You don't need a hard disk connected to get the system to POST.
It would be helpful to have a m/b or chassis speaker connected to help with diagnosing problems.
Have you connected up the 20/24 main power connector (I guess you have), but have you also connected up the separate CPU power connector (8 pin on this one I think) ?
Have you connected the power switch properly (or otherwise ensured that the PSU is working properly) ?
Have you made the proper stand-off arrangements for the m/b ? (some m/bs need either conducting or insulating stand-offs to isolate the m/b from the case except at the proper places - like by the connectors)
Have you checked your CMOS battery is in place ?
CPU PnP cap removed, and CPU inserted in the correct orientation ?
It's unlikely to be memory (it would beep - ensure your (internal) speaker is connected - you may need to connect the 'Chassis Speaker Header')...but try with only one DIMM inserted in A1 slot nearest the CPU. (I think your m/b has the option of a beep-on-boot feature)
Check all the jumpers are connected/NC as appropriate.
Does your case have a CASE OPEN warning feature ? (I guess that even if it does you have connected it appropriately because you have power).
I can't find a 'troubleshooting section in the ASRock manual, nor anything what beep codes (or lack thereof) mean.
Finally, if I have got this right you m/b has an 8-pin ATX/CPU connection socket, but the Silverstone PSU which comes with your case has only a 4 pin ATX/12V connector...ensure that you have connected the appropriate 4 pins !
Sorry I have just provided a bit of a random check list. You may have to (if you haven't already) just take it all apart and reassemble it to find that it works.
When you get it working, please let us know what the problem was/and how you fixed it.

My 2630 become hot when i put batery also myy gfive china phone fall down and stop ringing

For your 2630, it may be grounded, or shorted, possibly by water damage or overcharging the unit. Please refrain using it until you have it checked and repaired by a mobile technician to prevent more damage.
For your china phone, if it fell and after that the sound is gone, the speaker or buzzer unit might misplaced on its socket, or the speaker may have been damaged permanently, the solution is to replace the spekaer or check the connections of it

No high output to the connected speakers

Speaker may be blown, pull it from the case and connect a spekaer wire you know is working to the sub, if no sound its blown. If sound then you have a problem with the connections or the sub pwer from the stereo.

No audio sound, mic doesn't work.

For audio please install the mother board audio drivers for your PC. The driver cd is provide with motherboard when it is purchased. If this doesn't work, try connecting the speaker jack to front panel of your cpu.
For mic to work properly, make sure you connected the pink color jack of the speaker to the pink port of the cpu(Back side of cpu).
If did nor find drivers, download it from the internet by giving the motherboard type and the number.
I hope it should work now. Thank you

Speakers won't work

Please check the connection from Speaker to your Sound Device if its properly and correctly connected, usually it should be inserted in the GREEN hole at the back of your CPU, if this doesn't help, then check the volume control (SPEAKER ICON) on you Windows Setting, you can see it on you task bar, beside the CLOCK on the right side, if this still doesnt help, please re-install your SOUND Device Driver, if its buil-in on your Motherboard, then you can use the CD provided in the Motherboard.

If this procedure solves your problem, please spare a little time to rate my solution.

Acer Aspire 1690 Audio output not working

For audio output: I would locate the latest audio drivers for your speaker system - a few possible solutions:

1)Best: Make sure you are connected to the internet (I am assuming Windows XP - Vista may vary): Go to Start --> Control Panel --> Printers & Other Hardware --> System --> Hardware --> Device Manager --> Sound, video & Game controllers - look for a yellow exclamation mark by any of the devices, right click that device and click install drivers [note - this procedure will also work for your port problem, most likely; if not, just remove the port, restart your computer, and the "found new hardware wizard" will re-add it properly upon startup]

2) just enter the manufacturer nad model number of your spekaers in search bar and include the word "drivers" as your search term.

3) Go to
