Question about Hoover Bissell LiftOff MultiCyclonic Pet Vacuum
The first thing to check, is to see if your belt has broken or not. This is the usual problem for the brush not turning. If you find that your belt is still intact and not even cracked, then you might have a bigger problem. As long as your motor is running and you can hear it running, I would definitely check the belt out first.
To do this...simply remove the cover on the bottom by removing the screws holding it on. It should slip off easily. This will give you access to the belt. Take your model number to the store and pick up a replacement belt. It's a good idea to keep an extra or two handy for these times. You can also order one from the manufacturer of your machine. Such as: Hoover.com. The cost is about the same. About $5.
Hope this was helpful.
