Whirlpool Duet dryer model WED9200SQ0 shows error code F01 what does this mean and how do i fix it

F01 is a main board fault...

If the main board is good then there is also a fuse which may have blown.

You will need a soldering iron... if you feel capable then proceed of find someone who is..

It's actually quite easy to do...

Model WED9200SQ0 doesn't progress past the sensing phase. Any ideas? Matt

have you opened the cabinet of the dryer yet? Inside you'll find the tech manual. It'll show how to get it into diagnostic mode. Unplug the power first.
I had the exact thing happen on my Maytag self dryer. It said that one of the line voltages wasn't present. After going thru the manual I knew the thermal fuse was bad $15. Since this was powering the motor it wouldn't spin and 2nd line voltage wasn't present. Replaced the thermal fuse, all the other sensors checked out good.
it started like a champ, YES!!!. Saved some serious money.

My Whirlpool dishwasher won't drain and won't start, it makes a slight buzzing sound then clicks off...

While this could be a number of problems, I'll start by asking how old is the unit?

The display indicates "F 70"

you will need to disconnect power to the machine for about 30 minutes, reconnect it, and try again. it will work and here is a thread I ran across, seems to be a big problem. Good Luck Tim:

Error Code

I don't have a manual on the newest dryer like you have, but one of the models just older than yours has a F23 code that indicates a shorted thermistor.( temp sensor )
Since it is new you need to call for service. They will usually look up the code and tell you if it is anything you need to check but most likely you will need a repairman to repair it in warranty.
Post back if you have any questions.
