What was a SIM card dooing ther in the first place???....AAAAAAH! KIDS! ha ha!! fisrt open the drive tray, than power off the computer, remove the drive from the laptop, (you should see a screw underneath the laptop that unlock the drive), (some time you have to remove the RAM cover to get to the DVD drive locking screw) when the drive is free from the laptop, (if you forgot step one) you could try opening the TRAY with a unfolded paper clip pushing through the small hole in the front (next to the eject button) with the tray open, try to shake the SIM card out, if it's not working you can open the TOP COVER of the drive (with a very small phillips screwdriver) an DELICATELY try to dislodge the card with tweezers... (careful not to touch the OPTICAL LENS)

Good luck!

OK first keep the 2 year todler AWAY from the working bench (DADY IS BUSY HAHA!), now you defenetively nead to open the drive since it is not a tray type but a traction load type, the card must be stuck in the pulling mechanisme if you can see the EDGE of the card through the opening than with good 2 year old eyes (the todler could come handy after all) and a flash light you could try DELYCATELLY pull it out with tweezers, but if you don't see it you need to open it (DONT SHAKE THE COMPUTER) it is useless since the card is probably PINCHED in the pick up rollers, ask for help from a good computer technician...

    Good luck!

If the SIM is in the CD drive, you'll need to use a small paperclip inserted into the hole on the face of the drive to force-eject the tray.

Dvd door will not open and a dvd stuck inside

You might be able to manually remove it by removing the top cover. You will then need to turn the drive cogs manually. Do not have power on the unit when you do this. It could have got stuck because a belt has come off or has broken, that moves the door in and out.

Cd/dvd on mylaptop is disconnected how do i mend

Under your laptop, there is one screw with a CD/DVD disk sign beside it, unscrew it and then you can pull on the drive to remove it and inspect it. It might need replacement or you might have broken something inside. Good luck.

Samsung v 25 dvd room not working

Hi Alfonso, you can put any dvd-rw into your laptop, all you have to is change out the screw holder on the back of the drive and also change out the face plate. This will allow you to make sure that the drive fits properly and that you can screw the drive into place. Also make sure the shape of the drive matches up as well.

CD stuck in laptop

There is a very small hole in the cd tray, left or right side of the eject button of the CD/DVD tray.... insert a very small needle or a hardwire of 2 inches length and the cd will automatically come out of the tray..
