Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I just got a Toshiba T135 laptop just this week and so far so good, except for one thing. Whenever I shutdown the laptop and leave it for over an hour or so, and turn it back on, everything turns on (as in the lights over the power button and battery lights and so) except for the screen, you can hear the laptop working but the screen just stays blank. To fix this I took out the battery and put it back in and everything worked as normal again, but this problem happens over and over and its getting very annoying putting the battery in and out to get the screen to turn on. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening and any resolutions to fix this problem, because doing this everytime I turn it on does get a bit annoying!

This is not normal behavior for this model of laptop. I would contact the manufacturer to have it repaired under warranty, as this is likely not a software issue.

I bought a Toshiba laptop satelite T135-etc I'm trying to make recovery CD, but when I open the recovery media Creator; appear a message which tells no hdd recovery area! \the toshiba recovery disc...

The recovery partition has been deleted somehow. You cannot create a recovery cd on that machine.
Sorry.
P.S. That partition isn't hidden...many think it is.
Again...sorry. Hate to be the bearer of bad news.
Good luck
P.S. You might consider using a program like Clonezilla to make a copy of your drive. Or do a fresh install.

Whenever i try to install and open games,my computer complains of no graphic device found. What do i do?

It should mean about the Video Card, for many games (and of course the good ones) you need a good video (graphic) card to run them, because a normal computer has not enough capasity to run them.
You can buy a video graphics card, but as far as I know there is no such thing for laptops, only for desktop
That means you won't be able to play the hottest games.
sorry

Help with laptop

Hello Milligan,
Your problem is the inverter board in the display. Thats the reason why its working with an external display. The external display input is from the video card not from your display. You can get an inverter board for around 30-50$. Be advised that if you are not experienced in electronics better leave this job for a tech.

Regards,
Rajesh.
