This is a question that simply cannot be answered. Milliamps describes how much power is being drawn, and will vary from computer to computer based on the components inside, how busy the computer is, and even what the variance of the voltage on the power cord is.
I suspect that you more likely need to know the voltage. The answer in the US is between 110v and 120v.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
Goodluck!

### I lost the power cord to my "vintage fiber optic light" and would really like to use it. I don't know the voltage, so I can't even try to use another cord. Any ideas I what I can do?

If it is the type that has a cord, a power transformer and then the unit, look on the area where the power cord plugs into the unit. It ought to have the voltage, milliamps needed and the polarity.

If you have only lost the power cord, it just need to same type of plug.

### The main unit red light is constantly on and the chime does not work

This could be due to the wrong power supply. It's not enough to just match the voltage. You need to make sure the power supply can push the required amps ( or milliamps, or whatever).

If the power supply is the correct one then either the power supply or the unit itself has probably taken a dump.

### I have a Bellin router and sometimes turns orange sometimes for half hour or more. What could cause this.

1).This problem may be due failure of power supply from the power card. That means power cord may not be working properly. Kindly purchase the new power cord and try to solve your problem.
OR
2).Disconnect the power supply and disconnect all other cables from the router. The switch of power supply button of router may not be working properly. Kindly try to press the power supply button and release again and again for 3 to 4 times. Then connect all the cables and power cord. The problem may be solved.

### I just need a power supply cord to charge my jump starter system. Where can I get one?

Just get a generic charger from EBay. They may be available elsewhere. Get a 12 volt 500-600 milliamp one or if you know the exact milliamps for your charger, use that number. Here's a link to one on EBay.

I'm not recommending this particular one, just using it as an example. Good luck!

### Wanting to install a mp6212 cd player in my tool box at work

for proper operation, you will need 12V.
Some vehicles wont start unless there aer 8V.
Minimally 8VDC, but 12V recommended for proper internal amplifier operation. Purchase a used PC Power supply, and wire directly to the hard drive power pug. Inverters are also available.
BTW Amps are a measure of AC Current, not DC. DC is measured in Volts.
An Electrical appliance rated to work on AC will not work with DC, and vice versa.
You will need an invertor of some type to change the signal and wavelength.

### Got flat screen as a gift

This monitor requires a power supply with a POSITIVE tip polarity.
Monitor requires 12 Volt DC @ 3.3 Amps output.
Make sure voltage is 12 Volts DC [absolute requirement]

Power Supply can have greater than 3.3 Amp capacity. More amp capacity increases price, so I wouldn't go for more than 5 Amps [minimum 3300 milliAmps, 5000 milliAmps will be more than adequate].

Put a surge protector on your computer and monitor to extend their life....better yet, a power conditioning battery backup system, that can supply constant voltage, to compensate line voltage when A/C, furnace, or other major appliance kicks on.

### Mag lt456s power supply bad

The correct one would be 12v @ 2.5 to 3 Amp.
If the set used less current than 1 amp it would be in milliamp (500ma which is half an Amp)etc.

As long as you get one that is 12v @ 2.5 to 3 amp it will be fine.
You could buy one with a higher current rating like 4,5,6 or more Amp's as long as it's 12v DC. The set will only use the current that it needs to function so I higher current won't hurt. It's the voltage you have to make sure is correct. If you do buy one with a higher current rating it will probably last longer because it wont get so hot.
