The cards must be activated at the register when you check out. Otherwise Nintendo will not accept the product-key.

How scoring works in Windows solitaire

when you play solitaire on the computer there is an almost impossible to understand system of scoring. However after many thousands of games of soliare I believe that I have figured out the system used to score a game.

The game is scored in both positive and negative points. The positive points are awarded as follows, if you move a card from the table to the foundation you receive 10 points, moving a card from the waste pile to the playing field is 5 points. Moving a card directly from the waste pile to the foundation is 10 points, however if you move th e card first to the playing field and then up to the foundation you will be awarded 15 points. Any time you flip over a card on the playing field you are awarded 5 points.

It is also possible to lose points while playing. If you move a card down from the foundation you will lose 15 points. When playing with a waste pile that only flips a single card at a time you will lose 100 points every time you start the pile over again.

When playing on the computer there are also bonus points that are awarded at the end of the game. The bonus points are awarded in the formula 700,000 / seconds to finish. If the game takes longer than 30 seconds to complete you will lose 2 points for every ten seconds of game time but will be awarded extra points, but if your game takes less than 30 seconds you will not be awarded any bonus points.

So for highest score don't play for too long after 30 seconds, never play a card directly from the waste pile into the foundation and avoid taking cards down from the foundation back into play.

I have a new memory card with no photos on it and the camera keeps telling me Memory card is unusable insert new memory card. Change image to internal.

The camera is telling you that the memory card you have installed can not be used by it and it's instructing you to change the card. finally it's asking you whether you would like to save the image you have just taken to the (tiny) internal memory.
There are 3 main reasons for this error:
  1. You are using the wrong type of card. Your camera can use only SD and SDHC memory cards of capacity equal to or below 32GB. If the card you have installed doesn't match these requirements, you will have to get it exchanged.
  2. The memory card is damaged. (make sure you follow the instructions in the manual and don't force the card in.) Since it's new, we can rule out water damage and the such. I suggest you try copying a file onto this card using a computer to see if it's ok. If this is the case, get your card exchanged.
  3. The camera or the card slot is damaged. Find a memory card that you know is working (from a friend maybe) that suits the particulars mentioned in the first point and try using that card in your camera. If this part is damaged, you will have to take the camera back to the shop to get it repaired.

There. I hope that helped you solve your problem. Don't hesitate to leave a comment if you have any further problems. good luck and happy shooting!

I purchased a wifi card for my N610c but don't see where it's installed

Hi

You don't say which operating system you are using.

You don't say which brand, type, format and model of Wifi Card you bought.

If it is an internal card, this cannot be installed without total disassembly of the notebook and, even then, might not fit because the motherboard might not support it or even have a slot for it. This card also requires internal aerial wires. Such a device also needs channels and LCD Panel sockets for the card's aerial wires.

What you should do is go back to where you bought the card from and exchange it for either a PCMCIA or USB Wireles LAN card, which fit simply into the notebook via its PCMCIA or USB ports. After you install the software and restart the PC, your notebook will be able to connect to your wireless router.

Camera is asking me to format c/f card. i press format and e error mesage comes on screen.

If it won't format and says card unusable, then there is probably a bent pin in the CF card slot. I had this problem and my husband took a big safety pin and filed the point and bent it into a tiny flat hook. Then he filed a flat edge on the point of another safety pin. He hooked the bent pin with the former and carefully, a little at a time, coaxed the pin into a straight vertical position with the latter. He then took a tiny drill bit and hand twirled it once slightly into the matching hole in the card itself to bevel the edges of the hole so when I inserted the card it gently lined up nicely. The camera now works but I don't dare take the CF card out again but instead use only the usb cord to load photos onto my computer. Down the road some day when I am ready to buy a new camera, I might try taking the card out of the slot. Hope this helps.

Ds does not registar sd card randomly but problem is reocuring more frequently???

SD Card? Do you mean the game slot? Are you using a 3rd party device that allows you to play downloaded games? If so, it could either be the device or the SD Card. For me it was my DS. I used a friends DS with my RS Lite and it worked fine, but mine (after a year of use) stopped working. I don't have a solution unfortunately, but hopefully this helps point you in the right direction.

How to install a wireless access point

It's pretty simple and hp.com has a website where you can pull the quick installation instrucitons if you don't have them. Basically, you set your computer network card (the wired one) to an IP address in the same set as the Access Point's default address. It may be 192.168.0.1 or 1.1, so you give your PC a 192.168.0 or 1. something but 1 address, plug a cable into the port on the AP, open Internet Explorer, and follow the login instructions. We tend to put our AP's at memorable numbers like 221 222 223 etc, or 251,252, whatever so we know where they are. Anyway, give it an address on your network, turn on security if you need to, then unplug it from your computer and back into the network. Reset your computer's network card to either a proper address or Obtain an address Automatically, and the AP should work.
