No there is not it is plastic. They go bad where the shaft of the motor goes into.

  • Mark Nichols Mar 13, 2011

If the part numbers match up yes. Good luck trying to get it off though and even yours they stick.

  • Mark Nichols Mar 14, 2011

No you will have to almost beat it off the motor(carefully) and if you do that then it ruins the pump so most of the time it doesnt even pay to get a used pump because 1. if it sticks and you get it off the chances of that one working is very slim.

Water leaking on floor? How to fix

Depending on how old the unit is will depend on where to look for the leak. You have an incoming water line, a motor (with an impeller) and a discharge hose. First look at the hoses, motor assembly and areas under the washer tub for tell tale signs of leaking. Look for staining, usually a line like white powder will lead you to the leak. If none is found, start with the incoming line; first look at the valve that feeds the dishwasher, see if that is leaking. if it is, it will have to be replaced. Look at the feed hose to the dishwasher and see if it is brittle and cracked, if it is, replace it.Look at the discharge hose for brittleness and cracking as well, also check the connections to insure they are tight. If the hoses are found to be in good shape then look at the motor. There is a gasket that is in between the motor housing and the washer, see if it is leaking if so, replace it. You will have to remove the dishwasher to access the motor so be prepared to spend some time to complete this. Good luck and I hope it is just a hose issue.

Washer leaks

There is also a discharge lint filter on the front lower left that has to seal properly. If the water appears only when washing, you can probably eliminate leaking from the water supply side up to the solenoids controlling the water. The most likely source is a leak in the rubber section between the tub and the front door, a leak in the seal between the door and the washer, a leak or overflow in the soap dispenser, or a leak in the discharge side components. You could probably figure out the source if you could view these areas during a cycle, but that would require some disassembly of the cabinet so that you would need to know what you were doing.

Leaking water from underneath

The door connects to a round gasket called the "bellows". If it is torn, deformed or coming off water will leak underneath. Undo the 3 screws in the lower front panel and do an inspection of that area

Leaks when filling

It could be a swollen impeller inside the pump causing it to wear a hole in the plastic housing and making the humming noise .It,s fairley easy to replace as it clips on to the end of the motor.Hope this helps.

Leaking underneath

Maybe its not draining completely? Have you tried opening the front panel, pulling out the white plug, putting a bucket under it, unscrewing the front of the plug and checking the filter?

Water leak from my washer underneath i have a Whirlpool Duet Sport® HT 3.7 I.E.C. cu

Check the filter, as it may be leaking. To do so, take white panel off the front, put a bucket in front of the unit, unseat the rubber feet holding in the white plug and pull the white plug out, unscrew it, allowing water to run into the bucket, clean filter, check the gasket, as it may need replacement (if so, replace it), then screw white plug back in, push plug back into unit, secure the rubber feet, and replace the front panel.
