Usually when you can only hear calls on speaker phone it is as a result of 2 things. The first being a reduction in the volume, there are various ways to adjust the volume you can use the navigation keys in the middle of a call and that will increase the volume or you can refer to your user manual for methods of increasing volume. Although the hearing problems could also be caused by burnt out speakers. Atimes the speakers which enable you to hear without speaker phone could be damaged therefore your not being able to hear this may need to be replaced in this scenario.
the camera pictures getting fuzzy could be as a result of the phone falling down or the camera lens cover being dirty or the lens getting weak any of these three could cause fuzzy pictures. While videos being cut short is likely as a result of low memory space.
Will do some more research on the video problem and get back to you.
hope the other solutions have been helpful?

definitely the speakers could be connection problem but most likely when you open to check the speakers there is no particular way to ensure that the speakers are still good so best option to avoid double cost and issues is to replace the speakers.
And yes they can be replaced.

I dropped my cellphone and now I can make a call but I can't hear the person on the other end. They can hear me, what can I do?

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
The problem is simple, I have had this issue with many of my cellphones. The reason behind this is a faulty Ear-piece (The Small speaker unit that is on the upper side) If you have a Loudspeaker in your Phone you may hear from the load speaker because Loud speaker is always a by-bass to Ear-piece. The Loud Speaker may also be damaged as your phone got impulse. Neither you can listen to them when making a call nor receiving a call. The solution is to get your phone serviced, I'll not tell you to replace the Ear-piece directly. Because there are also cases when the Ear-piece is ok but due to the phone slider or flip open the body strip got damage due to which this response is generated. So to cut the story short you have to go to a nearest server center and ask them to service your phone as you are having this problem. They will diagnose, then act accordingly.
I'ts not at all expensive. And I'll not recommend you to do it yourself, as you may end up in more mess.
I Hope you will have a clearer picture now. Concerned, Nooh.

Fuzzy picture

The tape is not adjusted to cylinder head. Both the sound and picture is lost when the tape is not exact on the wheel (head). If the camera has not been used for a long time then can the adjustable pins start to rotate and change the position of the tape when it is used again. The oil has dried out and the pin is not running smoothly, and the screw starts to rotate as well.
So, the solution.
a) remove the plastic cover so you can see the two pins that pulls out the tape from the cassette.
b ) small droop of oil on the top of the two pins
c ) use a small screwdriver to change positions of the tape, by turning screw on the top of the pins.
Put in the tape again and test , thus you have to do small adjustments. Repeat the test until you see the picture.

This is simple but it will take some time. I have now saved all old films, it is hard to find a old video-8 analog camera ....

JVC Digital Video Recorder Problems

Most models of cameras have a built in feature to give you a message and turn off if it has condensation on the inside components. Powering back on during this period can cause damage to components. It should remain off in a warm dry area. Condensation might occur in high humidity, or when switching from a cool location to a warmer place. Try cleaning your video heads with a "cleaning tape" let it play for 10 seconds then pause. If that solves nothing your camera may have permanent damage in which case JVC or a repair shop will have to replace parts.
