Question about Mag Innovision InnoVision XJ 717 Monitor
The TV turns on and I have sound but I don't have a picture
From experience i have noted that after some time the Horizontal Out-put Transistor (HOT)gets worn out.This is a big black transistor starting with cd,d,t etc mounted on a big heatsink.note the numbers and replace it.

There are some circumstances for which this type of problem occurs to your TV....
You'll need to do this in the dark or low light conditions! Make sure TV is off. Now turn on the TV. If the TV "glows" when you turn it on, the problem is the TCON board. There is also a slight chance that it's the main input board...but this is less likely. However if the TV does not "glow" when you turn it on, the problem is the back light inverter boards.
Also hold a flash light to the screen after it goes off and see if you can see a faint picture. Sounds like your backlight might be cutting off. Repair can be expensive but some of the newer units don
