Try turning off the unit from the wall, keep the doors of the fridge and freezer open over night. Make sure you save food as much as possible or it may go bad. Next morning you will see a puddle of water under and around the fridge. Clean that up and connect. It should work. Make sure the settings are ok. Good luck.
Have you tried adjusting the thermostat level down several numbers to see if that solves the problem? It should be on the very top of the fridge portion when you open the door. Sometimes they are located in the freezer but most times the adjustment for fridge is in the fridge and freezer adjustment is in the freezer portion. If that does not work then you could be getting low on freon and it could be super cooling just before it runs out of freon. Try the adjustment first.
