Question about HP Pavilion a450n PC Desktop
This is a problem with HP/Compaq wherew the motherboard "freezes".
Here's a way that might just "thaw" it out.
First, disconnect EVERYTHING from the computer EXCEPT for the keyboard and mouse and screen.
Unplug the computer.
Next, while unplugged, press and hold the power button for at LEAST 45 seconds.
This allows the bios to reset to an available state.
Then release the power button and then plug the computer in.
The computer should now boot normally.
This is known as a "soft reset".
Hopefully this works for you, as it has worked well for many others.
I hope I helped you out, and good luck !
