I can not use the scanner, Ricoh Aficio 1515.
I alredy instal the twain driver ver.3 from the original cd, when I open the function palete, looks like its conected with the machine, but when I try to scan documents y get the Error: 36851

Visit the Ricoh download site and download the latest driver. This will ask you if you wish to overwrite, say yes. Hopefully this will replace the corrupt file.

Use the network scanner. It is easier for the users and is much better. Open the browser writes the IP hosts is then just create new users with their own folder paths (previously shared of course). If you do not have technical training i beliave it will not be easy for you to do it. Try the chat and ask for help from a specialist. I'd like to help but still can not chat
First download the twain drivers from Ricoh website or if you have cd down load it from it. Then from there when you go to scan should give you selection option for it.
I have the same problem. I use the USB, my client is far far away from me, and is better for me install the Ricoh using the USB. But the scanner don't work.
Maybe the only way is using a ethernet cable, but i dont want to drive so far... :(
Does the machine show up on your computer - you can print? do you see it in scanners and cameras in start - control panel -> scanners and cameras? what is the status shown there on the properties?
If you have the original printer driver disc, please insert it in the cd drive and install the driver.
You can even download the driver from Gestetner website.
Gestetner, Nashuatec, RexRotary DSm415 and
Ricoh Aficio 1515; Lanier LD015 and Infotec IS2215 are all the same.
