Question about Washing Machines

Fitting a solenoid

I need a new Soleniod for my Bosch WF 1200. I can see the 3 wires run around the inside of the machine and end up just behind the start button. What do I need to do to 'plug them in'

I also assume the Solenoid just twists off ? No special seals required

The rubber seal came off of the inside during the spin cycle - behind door against the tub -- and a wire ring came out. I put the rubber seal back on but have no idea where the wire ring would go? Is this...

The wire ring is the seal retaining spring, it fits in a groove at the rear of the door seal.
Double the seal back in the drum, and fit the spring around the seal at the rear of same, it fits inside a groove, it is difficult, so persist and be patient.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

How to change door seal on hotpoint m w a 60 washing m/c

you need to remove the outer retaining ring which is a wire around the lip of the seal typically joined with a spring., using a small screwdriver.
the inner retainer is held together by a ratchet type assembly. prise one end of the wire by twisting the folded end of the wire out of the groove til it comes free.
replace the seal. fit the inner retainer together using some long nose pliers, prefferably bent-nosed. the outer retainer with a screwdriver.
