F-9 error code indicates a defective control board, inverter or line voltage too high. f the microwave runs for about 7 seconds with a ticking sound..then stops and shows "F-9", it is the magnetron that has failed. The fact that the unit starts and runs with the TICKING SOUND means the control board is sending signal to inverter board and the inverter board is sending signal to magnetron. Magnetron is covered by full 5 year warranty, inverter board is only 3 years.

I have a jenn air SVE47600F.It just started beeping and giving a code 7.None of the controls work when it brings the code up,but controls work fine when code is not there. We have to turn the breaker off to reset it.Sometimes when we have been gone all day we'll come home and the range will be beeping and flashing a code 7

Make sure there is proper electrical power going to range. Then check your kitcen circuit breakers or fuse box in your house, then reset the oven controls.
LOL look what i found, a CHILD LOCKOUT FUNCTION-- check this out
TO SET CHILD LOCKOUT
Press and hold the COOK MIN/HR and STOP TIME buttons until indicator word OFF appears in the
display (approximately 6 seconds).
TO CANCEL THE CHILD LOCKOUT
Press and Hold the COOK MIN/HR and STOP TIME buttons until indicator word OFF disappears
from the display (approximately 6 seconds). Mode selections will now be available on the control panel.
looks like someones could have been playing with the buttons and locked you out..

SOURCE: Garland gas oven pilot light
The ovens are protected by a thermocouple. It's the steel rod that the pilot flame heats up. The idea is simple- if the thermocouple doesn't sense heat from a pilot flame, it won't allow the gas regulator to send gas to the oven burner bar; it won't even allow the pilot to stay lit. Easy to replace. My Garland oven uses a 24" thermocouple. Any good hardware store has them for around $10. Just take off the skirt that covers the over-ride buttons on the regulator. You'll see the other end of the thermocouple there. I recommend taking the old one with you so you know which length to get. When you install the new one, just curl any excess in a nice big loop & tuck it out of the way.

SOURCE: I was setting the clock
If your code is SaB i just did this myself....i accidentally turned on the sabbath mode. I fixed if (after 2 days of trying) by holding down the cancel button for about 5 seconds, and then the clock button for about the same.
