Hi! We have a Nordic Track C1250. We are trying to assemble the storage latch but it seems to long. We are trying to move the frame back and forth but it still doesn't fit. What are we doing wrong?

Welcome to FixYa!

Check if the latch knob is facing the correct direction. It should be facing inwards, not outwards.
The upper barrel should insert through the latch knob and lower barrel if the latch knob is placed in the correct direction. Please refer to the image below.

Hi! We have a - jas247_41.gif

Note that assembling the storage latch is crucial. It can damage the latch knob if installed incorrectly.

I hope this will help.
Thank you for using FixYa and have a great workout!

Is it a A2750 Pro or a C1250? The image I posted above is for the A2750 Pro but the principle of installing the storage latch is the same. Make sure that the latch knob is in placed in the correct direction and the upper barrel should be able to insert in the latch knob and in the lower barrel. Loose the latch knob so that you can adjust the length of the storage latch.

    C1250 image.

I hope that this will help.
    Keep me posted.

Hi, there is a lot of weight on the "Storage Latch". You may need to push forward on the treadmill a bit, pull the black knob, then slowly let the machine unfold. Taking the weight off the "Storage Latch" will make it easier to release the latch..

Corrine, That knob is spring loaded. You need to pull it out...Hard. Before you do this ,support the walk board/deck frame. It will be free to fall down after hou pull the storage/locking pin out. You need to pull the pin out and hold it until the walk board clears the upright. Then be carfull and lower the walk board/deck/belt.

Hope this helps.

I want to move a nordic track power tread pt5.0

HOW TO MOVE THE TREADMILL

HOW TO MOVE THE TREADMILL

Make sure that the pin

on the lock knob is inserted into the slot in the catch.

1. Hold the handrails as shown and place one foot against a

wheel.

2. Tilt the treadmill back until it rolls freely on the front wheels.

Carefully move the treadmill to the desired location. Never

move the treadmill without tipping it back. To reduce

the risk of injury, use extreme caution while moving

the treadmill. Do not attempt to move the treadmill

over an uneven surface.

3. Place one foot on the base, and carefully lower the treadmill

until it is resting in the storage position.

It sounds like reed switch inside the side panel located on the frame by the large pulley either needs to be adjusted or replaced. Try adjusting the switch first the clearance between the switch and large pulley magnet will be 1/8" if you have the same result then replace the switch.

My Nordic Track e5 si is rocking back and forth on top of the 3/4'' plywood I've put down under it. How can I stabilize it?

You will need to make sure the four rubber bumpers on the bottom of the machine are in the correct places/or even there.
Tilt the machine on its side and look at the bottom of the frame.
There should be four rubber bumpers, one in each corner. If there are bumpers located in the center part of the frame the unit will be unstable/wobbly.

I have a nordic track a2350 and the belt stopped working, the incline works and the top part lights up. What do i need to do?

This is usually related to the control pwb which is located under the motor "hood".
You can get this part from iconservice.com by going to the replacement parts section of the site and entering the model number of your machine, Which is located on the lower frame assembly below the walk belt. After you have receieved the part you can follow this procedure to repair it.
