Question about Brinkmann 810-2300-B Grill

BRINKMANN has NO Customer Service Dept.

There is a phone number, but nobody ever answers the phone. You just stay on hold. You can send an email, but nobody ever responds. Wait that is not actually true. They did respond to the email. They told me to stay on Hold longer.
I did use the online system to order parts. I was told the parts would ship in 3 to 5 days. It took over 3 weeks for the parts to arrive. They were the wrong parts. I can't fix the problem if they won't talk to me. So I have had to move on. It is tough cooking without the right grates. Now the igniters will not work. Yes, I changed the battery. and now it runs TOO Hot all the time. I had 650 degrees on low the other night. Lots of Orange flame ... I think the tubes are gone. As I read this back ... I see I need to just buy a new grill and it will NOT be a Brinkmann.

    Well I suppose when you buy the "cheaper product" that is how it is build em and grill em till the grill grill's no more. Well the problem is I opted for the cheaper gas grill and that's is just how it is. I cant blame Brinkmann for this it was my decision, I was trying to be frugal and this is what I got. Does anyone out there know if the big Cadillac of the grills are much better.
    I would suppose that most of them are made in China now days because we cant afford to pay Americans to build them it would cost way to much money and the poor corporate execs would not receive the huge bonus checks anymore. Just go buy antoher grill and it will last a year or so. Happy Thanksgiving

I used to work for a company in Seattle several years ago called Reliable Parts. They carry parts for BBQs. There website is Reliableparts.com.

They may be able to help you with Brinkman situation as well.

If they buy parts from them they might know how to get a hold of them as well as getting you the right stuff you need.

I went onto ripoffreport.com. There were two threads posted about Brinkmann's for the same thing you have experienced.

Searing Unit Keeps Cutting Out After Release of Knob


First I have a couple of questions for your question on how to fix your Brinkmann Gas Grill, Model 810-8501-S

1). Did you push the igniter for 3-5 seconds after you turned on the Sear Burner (remember, this needs to be done AFTER you've turned the control knob to HIGH).

2). Once the burner is lit, you then need to continue to PUSH & HOLD the control knob for another 30 seconds as this somehow seals the deal, thus this should solve the problem.

I have a brinkman gas grill model 810 8501 s and the searer will not stay burning unless I hold the knob in. As soon as I let go of the gas knob the searer goes out. Any ideas on how to fix?

Where does the battery in a brinkman pro series 9415 go?


Whereas I can't help you with the exact problem as I am unfamiliar with this model, you can write, call or email Brinkmann's Customer Service where they can point you in the direction of where to download the instruction manual you need. Shouldn't be hard at all.
