Question about Boss Micro BR Digital Recorder

1 Answer

My unit froze up during optimize process. After unplugging and turning it on again, it froze during the star up loading at about 1/4 the way. I've waited patiently overnight for it to complete loading, but no luck. I,ve managed to access the HDD Check Mode and found that the hard drive device is okay. I also have a CD Back Up and CD Recover feature in this mode. Could this be a way of retrieving the songs that were saved prior to the freeze and reload them after I use the Clean All Sectors feature in this same mode?

I had the same thing happen to me bro! the Boss Micro BR Digital Recorder is faulty. It's more likely to be the cable than anything. But, as you previously stated that you have managed to access the HDD Check Mode and found that the hard drive device is okay. you need to use the manurefacture warenty that it came with to have it replaced.

My Behringer PMP1280S INPUT Chanel 1 is no longer working, after pulling out the mic XLR plug whilst the amp was still turned on.

You should be able to unplug a mic from the xlr input with the unit on with no problem.
I beleive the problem is that the xlr input jack has one or more legs broken off the board. If you dsassemble the board and resolder the three legs to the board you'll probably fix the problem.

I have a peavy classic 100 2x12 1975 has a high pitch squeal coming out of amp when powered on

If this happens only when the guitar is plugged in, most likely there are two possibilities. The first, you have some issues with the electronics in the guitar OR are using an acoustic guitar witch has an extremely sensitive pickup that provides nothing but feedback. If this is happening with the guitar unplugged, there is a mountain of possibilities.

I've only had my 714ce for about 5 weeks. I've used it for 4 shows and during my last show I experienced a volume drop. I unplugged the jack, plugged it back in and it was fine for a bit, bu

It's most likely the battery isn't producing enough voltage, though it may have been adequate for your other guitar.
However, you should discuss the issue asap with your dealer and/or Taylor support.

I bought the amp a few weeks ago and it worked perfectly for a couple of days and then for some reason the controlls just froze. the tap tempo light went out and the channel control light stayed the same...

Exercise your warranty IMMEDIATELY since you just bought it! If you bought this used, you LIKELY bought someone else's problem. The problem is likely in the digital effects area... probably a bad cable contact... but if under warranty DO NOT mess with it... return it for replacement or repair.

After having been in safe waterproof storage during cyclone season I,ve unwrapped my korg pa 500 and plugged it in but it doesn,t boot up .The sreen is lit well with simply "Korg"...

First thing... make sure you are using the KA320 power adapter with it. We will work from there.

The unit probably is sensing an error of some type. Check these things: That NO key or button is STUCK down. Next, one could try reseating the memory sticks if you have expanded memory.

Let me know if you find a button or key is stuck down (not uncommon when unit has been wrapped) or you are using the wrong power adapter.

Wireless guitar system was working fine for about 2 hours & then the transmitter would have to be turned on again & again every few seconds to continue playing. this system is practically brand new...

This has the earmarks of battery problem... Supposedly this uses a 9 volt battery... You CANNOT use rechargeable batteries in these as the actual voltage of the rechargeable is lower than alkaline and they will fail quickly and as they age you may get only seconds of operation. When they go off the battery will recover a bit and even look like it comes on again. Do NOT count on the battery LED to give actual answer. When you turn on the unit, read the battery voltage under load with a meter. It should be at least 8.5 volts. NEXT possibility: A chronic problem with body packs is the battery contacts. There is a fine line between having good contact and being able to get batteries out. I have seen where people stuff paper in to increase tension on the contacts.

Good evening, I have an MPC1000 with JJOS and was trying to save a beat and it just froze. Then I got an error message. I turned it off and on and it froze during A.Load. I took out the mem card and it...

I would look for either corruption of the file you loaded or attempted to save or if it might be too big to store in the unit.

It might be the memory card was not properly formatted for the machine.

A real problem is those who try to use a memory card that is bigger than the machine allows. MANY of them allow ONLY a 2 GB card maximum. If one tries to use a larger the units will freeze. Check that your card is listed as compatible as many, even the correct size, are not fully compatible.
