Not getting constant play back

I use this system as a way of providing "quiet noise" for my daughter. I want it to start on the second selection and repeated play this selection, which would be for hours (8-10).How do I get it to play this long? Thanks

One way to do this would be to burn a new audio CD with only the wanted track on it and then set the unit to "loop".

This is an excellent system for a bedroom or small office area. The random color changing light feature is very soothing to fall asleep to as well as the random/all disc playback so you don't fall asleep to the same thing every night! The 90 minute max sleep timer is just perfect to give me time to read a little and still be able to fall asleep to music. I also use the random playback feature during the day to play my parrot's training CDs so he doesn't get bored either! This is a great system and I highly recommend it.

When I play a CD I get a buzzing sound. The sound starts as soon as I hit the play button (and before the CD is actually moving.) It gets louder once the CD starts playing. The sound is coming through...

Buzzing is usally AC line noise leaking into an un-shielded cable somewhere or a floating ground. If the AC plug is reversible, try that. Sometimes the buzz is from an attached device. Make sure all audio cables are plugged in tightly at each end and routed away from or at right angles to any power cords and away from other sources of strong magnetic fields like TV's. I've also seen variable track lights induce noise but it's usually minor.

If this is new then it will be under warranty so I suggest you take it back to get it either fixed or replaced.

CD's sound awful

Try cleaning the lens with a CD lens cleaner. If that doesn't work, the optical pickup may be back. If tht is the case, it can be repaired but it will probably cost quite a bit (more than $100) to repair.

Clicking sound in tape deck

All Aiwas  are prone to this problem.  The doors are a real pain and easily give up the ghost.  I have 2, both probmatic in this direction.
I have spoken to others about this problem. Seems no easy fix.
Have you in your case, tried leaving and old tape in the tape part of your  unit . The noise you hear, usually starts when tape unit area doors are about to pack a wobbly. Unless under warrenty, proberly,
not worth getting fixed.    It seems something gets weak in the activation part and get a mind of its own.  Very common after about 3 yrs of ownership.  All the best: jamz
