This sounds like a serious electric short in the internal workings of the monitor. I highly recommend unplugging the monitor from electric power and taking it to a business that can diagnose it properly.
I'd hate to say check the power cable and other diagnostics you do yourself because the risk of shock and injury is high.
If you have a Best Buy locally they tend to be nice about doing quick diagnostics on this type of thing for free, but they do generally charge for all work done.
Hope this helps!

My washiong machine is an LG washer/dryer its coming up with message LE each time i start a cycle, the wheel will not turn. I have halfed the load, turned off and on tried different cycles put still does...

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. LE' error message indicates the control board has detected that the motor is either not turning, or has locked up for some reason. Monitoring the motor is the job of the Hall Effect sensor board which constantly determines the direction and speed of the motor and feeds that information back to the control board. If there is a problem between what the motor should be doing and what the hall effect sensor says the motor is doing, the 'LE' will be displayed and the cycle will be stopped. The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty (in US). It only takes around half hour to replace it with a new one. Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

LG Computer Half Light, Half dark?!?!!?

Install the forteManager software that comes with your LG LCD monitor. Go to the Options tab and choose Restore which will set it back to factory settings. For some reason some monitors come this way out of the box and this was the only way I was able to solve the problem with mine.

Acer AL 1912 (black) resolution issue

LCD Monitor Shadow Effect
This problem is best described as the LCD monitor "Shadow Effect".
The solution to this very simple. No software or hard ware changes required.
The cables that are connected to the LCD monitors are causing the problem. Its also called as electromagnetic noise or electrical noise.
Solution: Keep the two cables - (power cable and moitor display cable), that are connected to the LCD monitor as far away as possible with each other and also away from other electrical cables.
Thats it. Your shadow effect is fixed.
Thank you.

Dell E193Fp Blue Screen

It can be due to the effect of some kind of magnetic effect.. If your monitor has the degauss feature then degauss it ONCE and see if returns to normal. Do not use degauss feature more than once in less than half an hour. It can damage your monitor.

Xbox 360 flickers across screen

it is your av cable however the components in the cable get a small static boost when u are using your controller so it becomes an intermittent fault ie;....when in game vidios or watching dvds, u rarely use the controller so u dont see the flickering and u only see it when in game play because u are in constant contact with the controlls and the components inside the av cable recieve a small static boost causing the interference.

High pitch sound being emitted

It could be a harmonic noise caused by dust inside the monitor. If you are qualified (brave enough) to remove the back cover, blow the entire inside of the monitor out with compressed air (carefully) that may help. It could also be the flyback transformer. In that case, you would have to have the transformer replaced (I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself unless you are a TV technican as the CRT can contain a static charge of 14,000-25,000 volts- even when unplugged)
