I believe that you require a different driver for vista 64 and possibly a different set up disc

I brought a printer one year back. Now my system has affected virus and it formated. Unfortunately my driver CD is lost. So please allow me to download the driver software for the same pixma IX4000...

Hi,

You can download the software from manufacturer's support website by clicking this link

On the page which opens, select the operating system of your computer (Windows XP/ Vista..) from the list of operating systems. Then download the required drivers and software.

The list of available software and drivers will load only after selecting the operating system of the computer.

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa.

I hav bought lpb canon2900b printer. cant install for vista64. what should i do?

If you have a 64-bit system (like Vista64 or XP x64) or you are using Mac OS X and looking for the driver..im afraid to tell u...., there is no drivers for these systems, also there is drivers for Linux but only 32-bit.. the reason is that, cannon doesn't make 64 bit drivers... :(

Can I run a canon pixma ix4000 on windows 7

Yes you can surely run your Canon Pixma IX4000 on Windows 7, If you received the Driver CD with your printer you can choose the Vista driver to install the printer in Windows 7.

You can also download the driver addon for Windows 7 from the following site:

Graphics Card ati radeon 2400 pro

Hi winklewee, please let me know if this video card is for a notebook or desktop PC? It would also help if you list the amount of memory on the card & type of memory.
You should update the Radeon card regardless of my request above. Click this link I have posted below for a desktop PC.
Uninstall any older drivers before installing the newer drivers. ATI/AMD come's out with new drivers quit often.
For Vista 32-Bit Edition Radeon 2400 Series (PCI-e).
http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=vista32/common-vista32
For Vista 64-Bit Edition Radeon 2400 Series (PCI-e).
http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=vista64/common-vista64

Try the new software first & see if Vista improves. If not think about either increasing you're system memory or increasing the memory size of a new video card.

Good Luck!
Please post the results from the updated software from ATI.
