If you have already tried the thermostat either in the fridge part or on the outside and it doesn't change the thermostat may need changing as if it doesn't tell the compressor to stop making it cold, then the whole freezer just keeps getting colder until the compressor breaks.

Try the thrmostat and if it doesn't work get a service engineer out to fix it.

Shouldn't be too expensive.

GOOD LUCK

Fridge Freezer temperatures fluctuating too much (I guess)...

The defrost timer normally only cuts in once every 24 hours. It sounds like your thermostat or temperature sensor is defective. The set back temperature should be about 2'C less than the set temperature.

Freezer runs constantly

Set the freezer to a warmer temperature and see if the unit stops.. If it stops place a know good thermometer in the unit and set to normal freezer temperature.

Check the next day and see if the unit was able to reach below "0"F

Set to lowest temperature and check again the following day. See if the unit was able to achieve below "0".F

If low temperatures are not achievable it is likely that the unit is low on Freon or compressor is going bad.

Hope this helps?

Don't set hi and low. Set the "Set point" number. That is what it functions on.

Bottom freezer temperature rises as high as 35 degrees and drops only to a low of 15 degrees continually. ongoing for a month now. french doors fridge now has temp. fluxes within this past week. temp. goes...

check the defrost thermostat , and any temp sensor that can determine the freezer temperature.
If this fridge temperature is electronically controlled, the freezer control board must also be tested.

Clicking noise, ice maker out, freezer temp high

Low temperatures are absolutely required for proper operation of ice makers components. Dirty cooling coils or possible low refrigerant.

What do you do to convert a T49F freezer to run as a refrigerator and is this feasible?

First of all the unit uses a low temperature compressor which is designed to work on a freezer. Refrigerators use a medium temperature compressor. So most likely it would be over sized for what you are trying to accomplish,
Secondly the evaporator feed device is designed for "low temperature", not "medium temperature", so it would involve resizing the feed device.

Frig freezer bosch kgv3120gb/01 with the thermostat set at no 5 the temperature in the freezer compartment is only minus 5

Hello button7
Welcome,

How old is your unit?

  1. Check if your freezer is packed so full that you have articles covering the air vents found in the rear of most freezers.
  2. This would restrict the cold air from circulating between the freezer and fridge compartments ,thus inconsistent temperatures may arise!
In today's refrigerator / freezers they share the air in a circulation process.

Or you may have this problem

Low refrigerant change
If the unit has a low refrigerant change, the freezer will not reach proper temperatures. This must be checked by a qualified technician due to EPA regulations.
