Question about Whirlpool WFW9200S Front Load Washer

1 Answer

HI EVERYONE, the problem with this machine is just started. When the wash cycle is started, water starts pouring into the machine, maybe 12 oz. then it stops and clicks to the wash cycle There is not enough water to continue and we cancel. My son went on line and found out that the detergent my wife has been using was not correct, and the answers he received suggested the pump was shot. I purchased a new one from Appliance Pros and this morning install it. Then we started a wash and the same thing happened. HELP

Filter clogged was my first though but obviously if you have replaced the pump you have removed any objects that might be in the hoses or filter. You may need to try and run several rinse cycles till that soap is all gone. I have a service manual which shows how to retrieve data from the error bank. Use the suggestions in there to reset the machine as well as the suggestions in your tech sheet.

Water pours out from washer

Most washer i know of have a small hose coming from the base of the tub abd going up to a water pressure switch up in the controls. As the water level rises the pressure inside the tube rises. When the water level gets just right the pressure inside the switch kills the water and starts the motor. So what goes wrong? Trash and sediment such as sand gets into the tubing. Removing the tube from the control and blowing it out in most cases fixes the probo. Note: If you do this you need to pump out any water in the machine before you start another wash cycle. So that the pressure will build once again in the tubing and shut off the washer at the correct fill.

My keurig says I need to descale. How?

Descaling depends the size of the reservoir. I see the B60 but not the B66 at the Keurig site. The two units are apparently the same from searching the support side of the Keurig site: http://www.keurig.com .

For the Mini coffee makers, you use 20 oz of vinegar (2 10 oz cycles). For the larger Keurig units, it takes 48 oz of vinegar.

In either case, fill the reservoir with vinegar and put a large ceramic (12 oz mug for the mini unit) mug on the drip tray. Do not add a K-cup. For the B60 (and probably the B66), press the Brew button. Discard the vinegar after the cycle. Repeat the brew process until Add Water is indicated. Discard the vinegar each time. Then wait 4 hours with the unit on. Discard the remaining vinegar and rinse the reservoir. Fill the reservoir with 48 oz of water and brew several cups without a K-cup until the "Add water" message appears. Discard the water in the mug each time. Repeat the vinegar cleaning if De-scale still appears in the LCD. Run more water without the K-cup if you notice a remaining taste in the coffee after the rinse procedure.

For the mini, fill the reservoir with 10 oz of water, lift the Brewer handle and lower it after 5 seconds with no K-cup in the unit. Press the Brew button. Discard the vinegar after the cycle. After the first cycle, pour the other 10 oz of vinegar into the Cold Water Reservoir. Lift the handle and lower it after 5 seconds. Press the Brew button and wait until the light becomes steady. When vinegar starts to be dispensed, power off the unit. Wait 30 minutes. Then power on the unit and lift and lower the handle again. Then discard the vinegar after the cycle. Next run 4 rinse brew cycles with 10 oz of water each time. Discard the water each time. The unit should be ready to brew with a K-cup after the 4 rinse cycles.

I hope this helps.

My lg Washing Machine WF-T853A is putting black rubbery chunks and flakes through every wash.. This has been happening for about 12 mths and is getting worse to the point where half the lint bags are full...

sorry to ask you this but are you sure the flakes are rubber? usually the black flakes are lint from the clothes. to help combat this problem try this.1- buy 2 pkts of bicarb of soda or baking soda, 2- select high water fill. 3- select hot water fill.4- pour soda into an empty machine. 5- shut the lid and push the start button. 6- let it fill and wash, let it wash for about 5 to 10 min"s , do not let the water drain.7- turn machine off after letting it wash for 5 to 10 min"s , and leave the water sit in the bowl overnight . 8- in the morning start cycle again and let it go thru complete cycle. this should get rid of most of the lint. you might have to do this twice depending on how dirty the plastic tank is. please reply 4 more help and good luck.

Can I use color safe bleach in my new cabrio, and if so where do I put it?

According to the manual on pages 12 & 13.

1.
Place a load of sorted clothes into the washer. See “Laundry
Tips.”
■ Load evenly to maintain washer balance. Mix large and
small items. Items should move easily through the wash
water.
■ Load only to the top of the basket as shown. Overloading
can cause poor cleaning. Items need to move easily
through the wash water.
2. Pour measured powdered or liquid High Efficiency detergent
into the detergent dispenser. Always use the detergent
dispenser, and do not put detergent directly onto clothes in
the washer.
3. Add color-safe bleach (powdered or liquid) to this dispenser,
if needed. Be sure to match powdered color-safe bleach with
powdered detergent or match liquid color-safe bleach with
liquid detergent.
4. Pour measured liquid chlorine bleach into the liquid chlorine
bleach dispenser, if needed. Bleach is diluted and
automatically dispensed at the proper time during the wash
cycle.
■ Do not overfill. Do not dilute. Do not use more than 1 cup
(250 mL) for a full load. Use less with a smaller load size.
■ Follow the garment and the chlorine bleach
manufacturer’s directions for proper use.
■ To avoid spilling, use a cup with a pouring spout. Do not
let bleach splash, drip, or run down into the washer basket.
■ At the end of the cycle, a small amount of water may be
left in the dispenser. This is normal.
NOTE: Use only liquid chlorine bleach in this dispenser.

5. Pour measured liquid fabric softener into the fabric softener
dispenser, if desired.
■ Do not overfill. The dispenser holds 3 oz (94 mL), or a
capful of fabric softener.
■ The fabric softener is dispensed in the final rinse. If Extra
Rinse is selected, the fabric softener will be dispensed
during the Extra Rinse.
■ Do not spill or drip any fabric softener onto the clothes.
■ At the end of the cycle, a small amount of water may be
left in the dispenser. This is normal.
NOTE: Use only liquid fabric softener in this dispenser.
6. Close the washer lid.
7. Press POWER. This turns on the washer display.
8. Select a Wash Cycle. See “Cycles.”
9. Select the desired Modifiers. See “Modifiers.”
10. Select an Option, if desired. See “Options.”
11. Select Delay Wash, if desired. See “Delay Wash” in the
“Modifiers” section.
12. Press START. The wash cycle begins, and the display shows
the estimated remaining time. The lid will lock.
NOTE: If you do not press Start within 5 minutes of pressing
Power, the washer automatically shuts off.

The way that I read the manual, your color safe bleach would go in the detergent dispenser. Your liquid chlorine bleach would go in the bleach dispenser.
