Hi.

Very simple this one.
The plug is molded type this kind of plug is sealed so you cant make any repairs internally other than change the fuse.

You will need to cut plug off & fit A new 13amp plug.
There are only 2 wires to reconect to new plug these are
BROWN to L
BLUE to N.

& thats it simple.

You will need to remove all the wires off it and off the hi/lo rocker switch. Then disconnect to two wires on the opposite side of the on/off to the power in side. The two white motor wires then get connected to this switch. The machine will now run on high speed only when turned on.

normally with a henry the cable breaks from where it joins the hoover just take apart from hoover end cut about a foot of cable off and then rewire

on the motor there are 2 connection together and one on it's own and on the brushes 1 each ignore these .and on the motor fix to the 2 tab one that you can see a wire connection on and then fix to the other side of the motor .this worked for me

You should have 3 wires one of them are green . gr. is the ground . the other 2 are interchangable. good luck DFD
