Hi.

Check under the bean container cup. There should be a lever. The lever is located under the container at the top. Ensure that it is not set to low. There is also another lever near the service door Pull that lever to minus, that will set the cup to less coffee. The first lever will move to higher speed settings. That setting regulates the grinding speed. Check both levers to regulate speed and quantity, see the diagram below for the location of the two levers:

I Just bought a Saeco Intelia Focus espresso machine. I made coffe with 3 different coffe brands. Very good ones. And I became very disapointed when I try the results. Every time the espresso was way too...

Use less coffe , you are using too much , reduce the amout you are using . Presto . Also use homogenized milk , not skim , or fat free . Also use the water vapour to heat the cup before you make coffe , capuchino , caffe-latte, mocachino , espresso etc .

Hi
I am assuming your machine grinds, then clicks twice, then the brew drive starts but you never hear the pump.
If this is so? The there is a lever at the top center of the door on the right. Pull the lever back 1 click, and try again.

I was a Saeco tech in Italy were i come from and i do know pretty this machine since are one of my favorite.I like solid construction machine and easy to operate. This machine is very stable, durable, and work with basic element.
Back to your problem technically could be something very easy to fix or something require a little time to troubleshhoting the real issue.

This coffe maker need to be open to check the status and troubleshooting the issue.Don`t forget to unplug the power cord first all the time.

This one are the check need to be done.

Check thermostat....some coffe maker have overheat protection thermostat and if the coffe maker was without water for a while that thermostat could be in protection.Sometimes they have a red push in for re arm .Try to push the re arm button.Check the thermo fuse(most of the time inside a silicon tube and on the top of the boiler) and check the heater element

To check the heater element you need a voltmeter (no power is necessary)
Set the meter on ohm and check if you have continuity. If you have continuity the heater is good.Check also 1 element and stick the other probe on ground to make sure no short are present.

Pls don`t forget to rate your experience

Powering problem.

On the first one, could be some loose connection- On the second problem, could be your CPU/Power Board bad. Contact SAECO customer service and ask for wiring diagram- need to check all wiring to ensure that you are getting power to all crucial connections ( from power filter, on/off switch, brewing boiler, thermostat, and CPU.) . Contact Saeco USA Inc. at 800-933-7876 (toll-free), ask for customer support, or contact SAECO via e-mail at : outlet@saeco-usa.com
