Hi, my router wowuld not connect no matter what I tried and I then also screwed up my router settings and had to contact my provider to re-sort that. Part of the process involved hitting the factory re-set on my router and after doing this, my wii connected straightaway. Hope this works for you

Does the linksys-G support WPS or AOSS?

Good question, I have the same router & Brother HL-2280DW and ran the printer setup CD from Windows XP SP3 via temporary USB connection & it seemed to work. The WAN report on the printer itself says OK, however the computer can't seem to find the printer "No devices could be found on the network." I let setup make changes to Windows Firewall, not sure about Microsoft Security Essentials however. This seems like a nice printer/copier at a nice price but this setup is frustrating! PS If it's a security issue I'd like to say thanks to all the hackers for ruining technology for everyone, your junk is responsible for slowing down & complicating computers & technology in the world. Someone please do everyone a favor & start making antibodies that *kill* viruses & spyware & spam and clean & speed things up for a change! All these villians - Where are the cyber super heroes????

What is the aoss button

The PS3 does not have an AOSS button. AOSS (AirStation OneTouch Secure System) is used for wireless setup of devices for your network. Your router will have a button on it for this. If it does not then it more than likely does not have the ability to set devices up in this manner.
To use this set up for the PS3 go to Settings - Network Settings - Internet Connection Setting - (Method) Custom - (Select Connection Method) Wireless- (WLAN Setting) Auto - AOSS. At this point the PS3 will tell you to push the button on the router and that you have two minutes or else the attempt to connect will stop.

Need to know where the aoss button is located to play ps3 online

The aoss button would be on your modem/router if there is one. You need to do a wireless setup from network settings on you PS3 do a manual setup instead of easy. Select search for connections and then select your wireless name from the list. Put in your pass phrase and then after that press right on the D-pad until the screen doesn't go right any further and then TEST THE CONNECTION.
If you have done evrything right you should be online. Good Luck!

How to get the AOSS to work?

AOSS stands for Air Station One-Touch Secure System. It is a proprietary method of security that automatically configures the SSID and WEP key for wireless routers made by Buffalo Technology and a wireless device connecting to it. You can use the AOSS setup method with any AOSS compatible router. AOSS capable routers will have a button on the router identified with the letters "AOSS." Review the documentation for your router to verify if it is AOSS capable before continuing with your setup. Routers with AOSS are able to automatically detect the Nintendo DS and reconfigure the settings for both to establish a connection with each other. Routers with this feature will have a button on the router identified with the letters 'AOSS'. If you are not sure if your router is AOSS capable, please refer to your router's manual. Important If you already have other wireless devices configured to use your AOSS access point, you may have to reconfigure them after setting up the Nintendo DS to connect to it. If you feel this may be the case, we recommend using the "Search for an Access Point" function of the Nintendo DS.

Where is the aoss button on a ps3

AOSS is what you would see on some high end routers. if your router doesn't support this method or have this button you can't set up your ps3 using it.

The PS3 does not have an AOSS button. AOSS (AirStation OneTouch Secure System) is used for wireless setup of devices for your network. Your router will have a button on it for this. If it does not then it more than likely does not have the ability to set devices up in this manner.

1)To use this set up for the PS3 go to Settings>Network Settings> Internet Connection Setting> (Method) Custom> (Select Connection Method) Wireless- (WLAN Setting) Auto - AOSS. At this point the PS3 will tell you to push the button on the router and that you have two minutes or else the attempt to connect will stop. and again this only works if your router has this button. and it is not found on your ps3
