I have Problem with the Transcend StoreJet 2.5 120 GB USB 2.0 Hard Drive. I didnot register it on line.in time i was presented this nice device.. because it was working ok .when i just connect it to LapTop. NOW..After almost 2 years .it s became not RECOGNISED BY MY pc. Perhaps you should download updated software of your external hard drive. If still not working maybe your external hard drive is not supported by your OS or isn't compatible with your OS.
You connected it to a "USB 1.1" socket in your computer, which is only 1/40 of the speed of a "USB 2.0" socket (if your computer has any such USB sockets). If you don't have any USB 2.0 ports, buy a PCI add-in card to add some ports to your computer.
