This going to run you between $650 to $1100 depending on the shop rates as the fuel pump is inside the fuel cel (tank) and can be very labor intensive. The fuel pumps run around $250 to $350 and if the tank straps are not reuse-able they are $50 to $70 and then there is the fill tube and it goes on from there.
It was about $500 to do my 2001 chevy truck and I did the work my self. In my case I removed the bed of the truck to gain accece to the tank.

Sounds like it may be a Fuel supply problem. Which would indicate a Fuel pump. Does it run a little better if you step on the gas alittle if so then it is the fuel pump. When was the fuel filter changed last?

88 firebird doesn't get fuel, I replaced the fuel pump and did a test run and it works, I also replace the fuel pump relay, and Im still not getting fuel.

I would check the fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, there might be a centrifugal cut-off switch. No output from the crankshaft position sensor would probly cause that. When you turn the key on you should be able to hear the pump run for a couple seconds. If not, could be a short circuit, loose connection, that sorta thing.

1988 firebird formula 5.0 tpi car just died replaced feul pump, relay, fuse checked wiring changed module, coil pump wont turn on unless direct power car still wont start help please out of ideas

It sounds like you may have burned out your fusable link. It's a special wire that comes off the starter solennoid and is designed to burn off in the event of an overload. DO NOT REPLACE IT WITH REGULAR WIRE, THIS IS A LEADING CAUSE OF CAR FIRES.
You will want to check for what caused the overload condition that caused the fusable link to burn out in the first place.

FUEL PUMP SWITCH where is it located

A fuel pump switch? Never heard of one in all these years working on Pontiac since 1872. Gall a GM parts dearler and ask them. They will tell you the same story I just told you. The pump runs off the relay only
