See fig below:--- the lift cable snapped and - helpmech_96.jpg

  1. Start with rear tubes first. Follow instructions 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6 above with roof down.
  2. Hold pair of springs in one hand, lay crimped end of cable and pusher plate over end of springs, then insert springs and cable into master tube, pushing them all the way to the opposite end.
  3. Run cable around pulley (M) and insert end of cable into master tube between the two (2) springs and feed it through to the front. If you are unable to feed due to grease in the master tube, you will need to disconnect spring tubes on the other end or pull springs out the opposite end to assist getting cable through.
  4. Pusher plate (see Cable Path diagram) in middle of cable must be in front of springs.
  5. Wrap cable around drum on winch one turn, then push end of cable out slot on side of winch housing and secure end under cable keeper (I). Tighten bolt securely.
  6. Re-assemble lift tubes to corner of frame to the end of master tube and re-assemble tie plate.
System should be ready to use. You may put more grease in the master tube.
If front and back of the roof do not start up at the same time you need to adjust the pulley (M). To Raise front of roof earlier adjust pulley forward to raise rear move pulley toward back of unit.

PROCEDURE TO REPLACING THE 3/32" LIFT CABLE

    1. Raise the roof.

    2. Remove the winch cover inside the unit.

    3. Brace the roof up.

    4. Crank the winch 4 or 5 times.

    5. Remove the nut from the eye bolt found on the harness square.

    6. Remove all necessary dividers, step-ups and cable covers.

    7. Remove the lift arm. (See removing telescoping arm.)

    8. Remove the spring. (See steps for replacing spring.)

    9. Pull the cable through all pulleys and out of the spring track.

Carefully note the route of the cable through the various pulleys

so that installation of the new cable will be correct.

    10. Remove the slug from the cable, when you put the slug back into

the spring track, make sure the wide slot goes in the same corner

    as the pulley.

    11. Feed the cable back through the pulleys, starting from the winch.

    12. Reverse steps 2 through 10.

    13. Adjust roof according to the roof height adjustment steps.

Gtwn3000mows ge washer need to replace the washer drive block and cant figure out how to remove the agitator from this particular model

On my top-load GE HydroWave washer the agitator just snaps in with a bunch of tooth-like clips in the center of the inside of the agitator. To remove it, grab it on the very bottom of the agitator by hooking your fingers underneath the bottom flange (using two hands evenly spaced) and just lift hard to yank it out. The clips will unsnap and then it just lifts out. Really bad design IMHO but that's how it comes out. I thought I was going to break something doing this but it came right out.

HOW TO OPEN HARRIS GARAGE DOOR WHEN SPRING SNAPS

In such a situation replace the spring assembly and shaft that it is attached to. Then determine how many winds you need to add to the windlass for spring tension to get the door to lift. Depending how the door track it is set up the outer wheels that take up the lift cable spool about 16 to 18 inches of cable per revolution. The spring gets tensioned by sticking a length of half inch/13 mm rod into 1 of the 4 tensioning holes of the windlass that are cast into the clamping end of the spring and turning tension onto the spring by way of that windlass to lift the door once the cables are attached to the door and then clamped into the wheels, once the approximately correct lift height has been cranked into the spring. One rod would need to be left in place to hold windlass firm until the set screw is tightened. Then you can put on a hard hat, unlock the door and lift slightly- the rod will fall out if you wound the spring the correct direction.and the door should rise again with ease.

I have just purchaced a graco bounce n swing. ive inserted leg tube into wrong side n cant get it out. what should i do?

There is a plastic casing around where the leg snaps in. Lift this section with a screwdriver being careful not to break it. With it lifted, push down on the end of the leg that is incorrectly inserted and push down. I had the sane exact issue and this is how I figured it out. Good luck!

How do i replace batteries?i cant find an easy way to disasemble to replace batteries

Eyeglasses In front of the seat there are the two seat support pipes extending out from under the seat. push in the buttons sticking out of those pipes and lift the front of the seat up. Now you should be able tosee the batteries. If you disconnect the joystick cable from the rear of the chair you can pull forwqrd on the seat and lift it off the frame. You might need some help in getting the seat off. Once you have the seat removed access to the batteries should be a snap. Hope this helps you

Door is hard to lift, I heard a loud snap and now the door is harder to lift than it should be.

Remove the toe kick you will see you broke a cable or spring. Hard to say without a model #. The cables have plastic ends that break off. You will need to replace the cables , do both sides even if only one is broke. They are cheap and easy to replace. If you need a diagram or illustration enter your model # at www.appliancehelponline.com You will also find videos and photo tutorials on disassembling.

Cant figure out how to reattach throttle cables after replacing handle bar.

adjust the cables to were they are as loose as possible. one cable should be for snap back and the other for the actual throttle. you will have to put the housing on the bars and the throttle sleeve on the bars, then install the cables in the throttle sleeve.

I have a Tmobile Nokia 5300 phone and bought a new screen for it but can't figure out how to replace it.

u will need a tiny screw driver (flat head) its the small one u use for eye glasses.. at each corner you have to gently pry off the whole front face, once you have the corners lifted you can lift the rest of the face off than pop out the lens, pop in the new one and snap it all together again!

Just to clarify weingpc's response, if you pop off the cap and look in, you will see a 1/2" square socket. Take your 1/2" extension and rachet, drop it in and unscrew it counter clockwise. Pull it out and pull out the next piece underneath, which if you're having problems with the agitator being "jumpy" is the piece you need to replace.
