When I try to make a call on my nokia e71, I get a message saying call not allowed. how do i fix this

Check the Message Centre Number if correct. It is under Message Settings, SMS Center.
You can obtain the right number from your network provider.

no, the voice msg is a operator servers, they should send u a msg saying u have a voicemail.
nokia will only allow you to ease call the voice mail.
