Question about Televison & Video
Code 10000 is what WORKED for my Comcast DTA remote on my Curtis LCD2425A! Another poster suggested using Sony codes and that was the first one on the list. Wahoo!

Remote codes are specific to the universal remote and its manufacturer. For instance, a GE universal remote will have different set of codes for a TV than a Panasonic universal remote. It is difficult to help without the specific remote.
For some brands, such as Emerson and Curtis, it can be difficult to find remote codes. In cases such as these, I recommend a Learning Remote. A Learning Remote will actually learn the codes from any remote as you push them, so there are no need for codes. If you still have the manufacturers remote, this may be an option for you.

I have a TRUTECH SDTV with a comcast xfinity small black remote, and all I get on the screen is, we're searching for cable services in your area. I can turn the tv on, and off, but no channels will cone in.
