Question about LG KU990 Viewty
Well recently my camera's flash unexpectedly stopped working, its definitely set on auto & I'm taking shots in the dark yet the flash has ceased operation..
Phone is in pristine condition and never has been dropped...
My GF has the same phone and had a similar problem where it would flash when it wanted to but has recently fixed itself....
Any one had a similar experience??
Use the Mode button on the screen and set the camera into night mode / Auto Flash. That gets the flash going again. Then it seems to work again in other (eg Auto) camera mode again.
I also changed my ISO from 100 back to Auto when I made the change from night back to auto camera mode. I don't know if this made any difference.
The flash seems to lock out if you set the flash to "always off" at any point, then go directly to "auto".
It's a bug. I hope LG will upgrade the firmware when they fix it and the others.

Hey guys (and girls), I had this problem and that's how I came here. I don't know if this is the solution, but ten mins ago it didn't work, then I took of the case and next to the micro sd words (indented into the phone) there is a small metal button, I just pushed that and it came back on. I hope this is the problem and that I've helped you, if not, well, at least mine is working for now.
take it easy.

To the owners of a LG Ku990 the problem with your camera light may just be that the light is blown or disconnected from the circuit due to the heat that emits from the phone from using it for awhile because I've noticed the when the red eye reduction is on it flashes twice and although some might not have ventured into the phone i was surprising that the makeup of inside this phone was similar to a digital camera. besides that some of the methods mentioned in the other solutions might have worked for others due to "fiddling" with the phone so firstly to the few owners of this phone check your local mobile phone repair guy and see if its really one of the two symptoms mentioned above and good luck

When in the camera go through the settings and turn the flash on.
Look in the user manual.
Hope this was help...
