Question about Royal 15MX Shredder
I just had this exact problem with my shredder. I found that the LM324 IC on the circuit board was shorted out, and it tool the LM7812 regulator with it. I replace both and it's good as new.

There is most likely something blocking your shred gears preventing it from running in forward motion. If you press the feed button will it engage the motor? If not, you will need to have it serviced if you cannot visibly see any blockage. Be sure to unplug this unit before attempting to clear the pathway.
