Question about Lexmark Office Equipment & Supplies
You can click on the link down below that is right for your Operating System.
Download this file to a special folder you will want to create on the C drive. Make it c:softwarelexmarkdrivers
Once the driver is downloaded into this location, double click it to unpack the contents. Then in the contents you should find a setup.exe file or if you don't, go to the Start Menu, Control Panel, Printer and Faxes and click on Printers, add new printer. You then browse to the new lexmark directory with the unpacked files.
However, if you are connecting to your PC with a USB cable, remove the USB cable before installing and then connect the cable only when told to do so by the installer or after the installation is finished.
When you do connect the cable, Windows will notify you that you have found New Hardware, point the Wizard to the new directory you just setup from and let Windows go through the motions.
Once it is all installed, run a nozzle check, print head alignment routine and then a print head clean routine.
This is the link for Windows 2000

1. You can go to the Lexmark site and download it from there.
2. Go under support / download
3. Find your model
4. Specify what type of windows you have, XP VISTA etc.
If no luck from the Lexmark site feel free to try www.driverguide.com where you should be able to find the driver if its a "rare" one. But i PREFER Lexmark site.
Hope I helped you there :)
