Question about Haier (B000194UBA) Compact Refrigerator

Broken refrigerant line

I have a small 4 to 5 foot Haier refrigerator. Defrosting was neglected and then a worker attempted fast frost removal with force. The freezing compartmant was knocked back and severed a refrigerant line. Can this part and the gas be replaced?

Yes but would cost $100-$150 maybe more that a new frig dan

There are various defrosting methods that your fridge can employ. Take a look at some of these defrosting methods.
Thermostat Defrosting:
Thermostat is a basic component in all modern refrigerators. The device allows you to set the freezer temperature that you want, depending on your requirement. Most often, a refrigerator with thermostat comes with a small plastic tray which can be found below the freezer compartment. This tray is where the excess water from your freezer goes to. The thermostat works by stopping the supply of power that is received by your compressor whenever the temperature that you have set has been reached.

Please do elaborate a bit, what you exactly mean by "it is not making ice very fast". I assume that you want to say that its not cooling the way, it is used to be ( Please Correct me if I'm Wrong). That shows "poor cooling" symptom.
The Poor cooling that you are facing might be caused(In fact the most common reason) due to the result of a heavy frost build-up on the evaporator coils. You can't see these coils without removing/opening the panel on the inside of your freezer. A sure sign that there is a build-up is the presence of any frost or ice build-up on the inside walls, floor, or ceiling of the freezer that is exactly the thing you quoted. Such a frost build-up usually shows a problem in the self-defrosting system or damaged door gaskets. The refrigerator is supposed/designed to self-defrost approximately four times in every 24 hour period. Good day,
No reasonable repair possible. That is a refrigeration line. The repair would exceed the price of a new unit.

Defrosting these machines should be done with a fan only.
