Open the image in your picture program. click on the option to resize your image which is generally under the heading image depending upon which program you use.. change the dpi to 300 and the PIXELS width to 710. that will automaticaly give you a height. If the picture is "taller" than you want you will need to crop it to get it under 890. Be sure to keep the ratio the same while you are making the changes. there is usually a little box regarding ratio that should be checked. Good luck.

It takes a long time to send images using email. What should I do? I have the Epson 330. My email is moneyprof@aol.com

When your image is bitmap or higher in size, it does take time to be attached or uploaded to your email. Try saving the file in JPG or have it reduced in size.

File size is too long and is taking ages to send

yes you can reduce it by selecting the resolution. basically you
1. select the dpi as 200*200. because it will give better resolution. No need for going to 600 *600 for text document.
2. you try to crop out (select the particular area of the image).

you try these. If it is not solved you can mail me at ramanathanr@integramicro.com.

Problem with the size of the image at the scanning process

Did you ever find a solution to this problem?

Since you mention altering resolution and scale percentage, you must already be in Professional mode. Given this, there are two other possible reasons I can think of for the problem. One is that your width and height numbers are very small. The other is that you have a very small marquee drawn on the preview image.

Hp 2400 scanjet

To upload scanned images to eBay, simply scan your your images first and save them as .jpg files.

Remember where you have saved them,
eg My Documents/ebayimages.
Make sure the files are not too large. If they are, you may have to resize them. Really no more than 75kB and less if you have a lot to upload for one listing. If the files are too large they will take too long to load for users with a slow internet connection.

Next. go to eBay, create your listing and click upload images. A window will open which will allow you to navigate to where you have saved your image. You can also edit the brightness and sharpness of you images in eBay.

Hope this helps...
