Seems like there is either a problem with the USB stick, or with your USB port. Do other USB devices work properly? If so, you might want to return that USB stick now it's still under warranty.

Many times the pen drive can not be formatted or is not detected. If these problems occur and according to what you describe,The pen drive you are using has corrupted memory sectors. Its of no good use, if under warranty, go for a exchange from the service support or else Buy a new pen drive.

I think its not the problem of pen drive its some virus or malware in your computer. Please try formatting the pen drives in safe mode. If this doesn't work here is the full address of service centre in Bhopal:

I have a 4 GB kingston datatraveller 120 pen drive

I would say do a firmware wipe but seeing as you have no access to the drive at all I would say your probably SoL and in need of a new drive
